Wife wants a CUV, but something smaller, but NOT the Escape, so we are looking at other brands than FOMOCO, Should I buy out the lease and keep the Edge for a while and sell it OR walk away?? What are YOUR experiences at dealers when returning a leased Edge? With this low residual, do you think FOMOCO will deal lower for the buyout?? Edgieguy Posted September 15, 2010 Report Share Posted September 15, 2010 Were getting out of our under mileage (25K now) 2008 limited for $19,100. on 12/29/10. Its a 3 year 36K lease. Ive decided to buy it out and resell it privately. ive been offered $24.5 from a guy I work with, so that cash defrays the cost of my lease.
