afranco76
I am considering buying the OEM mats for the interior of my Edge. Can anyone give feedback if they cover enough area for the driver and passenger floor? Also, what did you pay and are they heavy duty rubber. Thanks, Andy

Thanks, Andy I have the rubber mats for the front passenger section of my Ford and the back compartment tray. They are good solid and thick floormats. Only problem is that the drivers side wore out after a little over two years and it's not replaceable as a single, you have to buy the whole kit. As far as coverage goes, I live in the northeast and I haven't had any problem with snow or dirt getting where it's not supposed to. If you're really curious just go down to the dealership and ask to see some installed in a car. Also be sure and order the right floor kit. Apparently the drivers side on older models has one hook point but on newer models it has two button holes. Some of the dealers are a little confused on that point. tpm419419
The OEM rubber mats for the 2011 model year has a full 1 piece door to door rear mat that covers everything. Not sure if the 2010 mats are the same or not. I highly recommend these mats
Edgieguy
I actually thought this was one OEM component that was pretty good. I actually kept the mats from my 2008 since i purchased them after the vehicle figuring i'd use them in the new one, and then my 2011 came with them. Three years and they look as good as the day they were unwrapped, I guess I dont wear really abrasive shoes. I'd recommend them, if you dont like them however, their are weathertechs from McNeil which are a real quality product as well.
