TwiztedTD Posted June 20, 2011 Report Share Posted June 20, 2011 Hi everyone, I just purchased a New to me 08 Edge Limited AWD. It the factory installed trailer hitch. Im new to having a vehicle with a trailer hitch. The hitch seems smaller than what ive seen on my inlaw's trucks. Does anyone know what size of hitch it is? So that I can buy the peice that goes in so I can tow a trailer? Or should that peice be somewhere with the vehicle? Also does anyone know the weight limit for what this vehicle can tow? PSUFetch Posted June 20, 2011 Report Share Posted June 20, 2011 The hitch is a 1.25" hitch. You are used to seeing a 2" hitch on other vehicles. You will have to buy your own ball mount and hitch ball as the size of the ball is determined by the trailer you are towing. With the factory tow package, you can tow up to 3500 lbs with your Edge.
