2010 Edge-Mold on headliner

I have a 2010 with what appears to be mold on the headliner. It is patches of brown spots on the passenger side in the back. The last time it rained hard I felt the ceiling the next morning and it was wet. I took it to the dealership and they can't find any leaks. They said I had to clean it and then bring it back when it was wet.

They said I had to clean it and then bring it back when it was wet.

 

Wash your car and see if it leaks. If it does, it would be from a seam or through a bolt in the top. Could be as simple as some sealant.

 

In the meantime, clean it out with some ammonia and water or steam if you have access to a steamer.
