Cdpratt69 Posted October 15, 2011 Report Share Posted October 15, 2011 You need to hook up either a mobile broadband device that uses USB or use a mobile phone that allows broadband data sharing like the iPhone. You hook either one of those into a USB port on your Edge and then setup your mobile wifi if you want to share your mobile broadband with other passengers in your car. I've had someone tailgate me and borrow my iPhone broadband thru the edge wifi for about 15 miles. I didn't have it password protected and the guy actually stopped at the same gas station as I did and thanked me for allowing him to borrow my connection for a bit. His wife was trying to look for places to stop for the night on her iPad wle hooked up to my edge. I named my wifi Edge69er. I was born in 69 so it is not meant to be nasty.
