It's not required where I am in FL but I don't know the specifics. I briefly looked and saw mention of a different cat for the exhaust system. I hope it doesn't affect performance in any way which I think it might if it reduces emissions. There is no state inspection here so I don't see a need for it. Why would they auto add this? I think they add it so that if you ever sell the car or move to Caii, you don't have to do any retrofitting. I don't know what it changes though.
