I just talked to WeatherTech and they said that theCargo liner for the 2011 Edge is different and would be available in 6-8 weeks. Apparently there must be some difference between the 2010 and 2011 as both WeatherTech and Ford have different Cargo liners. But, from what I am reading here the difference must be small. I would like to get a Cargo liner now but I am concerned about the quality of the Ford mat.

I found it and also pulled one of the pins just to see how hard it was to pull. The reason I want to pull it is to check the routing of the wires and hoses for rubbing and binding. I was looking at the engine on the passenger side and one of the ground wires was in a a bind due to the way the wire was routed, would have eventually broke if I not rerouted it. I do this on every new car and it is amazing at some of the problems I have avoided my doing this.

My Edge Limited has 20" wheels and has the flap.

Thanks for the info, I saw the nut at the front, I will look for the other pin, drivers or passenger side? I don't like to start pulling on stuff untill I know a little more about how it works, broke too many things by not asking questions first.

How do you remove the Engine Cover on a 3.5? It is held in my 2 round retainers. Do they just snap in or what? I don't want to get carried away and start putting pressure on the cover and break it. By the way what is the cover made of, when I first saw it I thought it was a plastic cover but it is more like a compressed foam and I don't want to break it.

I'm with you on this, If it is supposed to have it I want it!!!!!!!! Sounds like it was left off at the factory, too dark and raining for me to go look at how it is attached. Go to the dealer and if the other Edges have it, start with your salesman and work your way up.

I have a Limited and it has the air dam.

Mine was built about the same time, time to see the dealer and see if it is something that was left off.

I just checked and my Edge has the small dam/spoiler in front of the tires, it was build in Sept, when was yours built?

I think they are both the same, but I went with the 175 X 105 just to be sure. I played with their website and you can get the 308A to come up several ways and I thought I got the size my going through Manufacture/Model but the next time I tried it I got the 308A. Hopefully when enough orders are received we can clear up the confusion.

I have one in the cart about to order and the size is now "175 x 105 (Rad: .1in. <1,1,1,1>) DayVue for Ford Edge 2011 R15E0003480078A". I selected this by Manufacturer / Model.

Was about to order the WeatherTech for my new 2011 Edge, had the Cargo Liner for the 2010 in my cart at Amazon and was about to order when I decided I had better do some research. Right now WeatherTech does not show a Cargo Liner for the 2011. I sent an e-mail to them asking when the Cargo Liner will be available for the 2011. Ford also shows a different Cargo Liner for 2011 so there must be something different. Does anyone know what the difference is between the 2010 and 2011 in regards to the cargo area? I have not been able to compare the 2 Cargo Liners but from what I can gather in my reading the WeatherTech has generally been regarded as superior to the Ford Cargo Liner.

I'm not. I visit a lot of forums and I'm use to this, but there does seem to be several here that jump on anyone that seems to have the least little problem. No vehicle is perfect and the sharing of knowledge about the known problems will help the new buyer. Now back to my impressions of the Edge. Great vehicle and really do like it. The things that I would have done different would have been the emergency flasher, the placement of the door handle, and more assist handles for getting in and out. My Edge is a 2011 Ingot Silver/Black Leather Limited with the 302A package, Trailer Tow Package, and 20" wheels.

Sure does seem like a lot of people on this Forum have a problem with someone stating their opinion .

I also agree that the placement in not optimal and should have been move back. I noticed the problem the first time I closed the door and my wife also commented about it.

Add me to list of people accidentally setting the emergency flasher off. I have done it several times in the last 2 days since picking up my Edge. I was sitting in the drive way messing with stuff and set it off, The first time it took me a second or two to figure out what I did.

Interesting! I just talked to the dealer and mentioned this to him and he looked up all the rebates/programs he could find and only one he is coming up with is the $1500 retail cash. I wonder if this is a regional deal (I am in Texas, Dallas area). This dealer is one of the biggest dealers in the Dallas area and is normally on top of deals like this. I am close to a deal and may miss out on the $750 brochure deal (have request one, but may not arrive in time) and would like to get this if possible.

Where can you find details on this? I am in the process of buying a new Edge and have financed with Ford Credit previously. Have not finalized the deal so I could certainly use the extra $.
