AXCL, thanks for the quality post, helps me alot. I'm going in tomarrow for the front two windows, 30% a good medium shade. I'm also going to have my tint guy do the vista roof as well, my main concern is heat in so cal, probably do 20% on that. Not sure the brand of tint ,but I trust this company because they did my infiniti G37 really well. I know they use quality lifetime brands and they computer cut all their films, no razor blades. thanks again for the help!

IF you want yours to look like a sport, you'd be better off getting the wheels and rocker panels added to yours. i don't think changing the grill color is going to do much in that regard, just my 2 cents...GL

i think CR is too old school for their own good and have an older/conservative following that is fading away. I personally would not consult with this publication for reasons already mentioned... if you want accurate reports,especially concerning tech issues, your better off with CNET and the like who are more in touch with the ever changing auto industry... IMO....

Hey guys, how many of you tinted ALL your glass, oppossed to just the front two? The reason i ask is, my tint guy said the dark privacy glass has no UV protection or heat barrier quailities. He said it was like the rear glass is wearing cheap sunglasses! I've only had my edge a few days now,so don't know if I need to tint the whole thing, especically in the summer months. What do you think?

I think they changed the flasher botton on late builds, it doesn't turn on without a deliberate push and hold...

looks to me your getting a very fair deal. Mine was 40'775.00 sticker, got it 300.00 over invoice( 2200.00 off) then another 1500.00 rebate, and then the 750.00 coupon. So a total of 4450.00 off msrp. no other fees except tax and lic. I'm satisfied with that. Good luck...

hi all, name is Greg, picked up our 2011 white sport, vista,nav and entry pack. First thing I did was drill out the lic brkt rivits and installed black flush plugs. I also have the replacement grill,bottom piece on order, about 115.00 in black. Going to have the front two windows tinted to 30% next week. After that my first real mod will be hid conversion, and replace as many bulbs as possible with leds. I'll use vleds.com for the bulbs and I saw on this board somewhere a vendor for the hid kit. I figure after that this vehicle is going to be friggin perfect! anyways, just really excited about this purchase, nice meeting you all and hope to be active member here...

Are you saying that 8200e part replaces part of the grill that was rivited for the bracket??? The dealer mounted the lic bracket on my 2011 sport even though I specefied NO front bracket when I ordered it!

Hi all, I can't decide if I should get AWD vs FWD. The car will be used for light so cal commuting, no off roading...What do you guys think? Does the AWD handle that much better and does it add more road noise? Going with white plat, vista roof, drivers entry and nav... also, any input regarding lease vs purchase would be welcomed...thx, Greg
