But do you actually have the Alerts working? I must have 20 songs and a couple of commonly played artists activated on my Alert list and I have never had a single alert. I've just assumed it was another part of the Sync system that simply didn't work. Oh I had an alert pop up for me finally! It was a small box in the center of the 8" that was the same font/format as the one that pops up during a navigation/traffic event that it wants to bring to your attention. I hit the 'tune' button (I believe... or maybe it was listen idk) and it took me to the station. I thought at first that it had messed up because there was a commercial playing on the station that it had tuned to, but then as soon as the commercial ended it was the first song that played. I was quite excited hehe.

I would look elsewhere.... rather... I wouldn't buy that particular vehicle.

Just use common sense... remember no amount of electronic babysitter can thwart the laws of physics... but they sure do help!

It is the fuel. Notice the text "1 Warning" is yellow... which corresponds to the yellow fuel level, and the yellow fuel icon displayed just below the warning text. You will notice that the warning text always corresponds to the color of the warning icon as well... such as yellow for cross traffic alerts, and red for doors open, etc...

I just hit the 1000 mile mark and I can't say enough good things about this vehicle. I absolutely love mine, and I get compliments on it all the time. I'm so glad I waited for them to find me a Sport.

I purchased my 2011 Edge Sport AWD on November 13 (fully loaded except for the door sill lighting), and other than my initial issue with the seat, the myFord Touch/Sync system is working great!! I'm very happy with my purchase!!

YAY!! hehe I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this particular gremlin stays away now. Have a Happy Thanksgiving! EDIT-Yep, that definitely fixed it. It's been 3 weeks now and all is well. Also, I have never had to pull a fuse of any kind for any reason.

Yes, that is exactly the issue I had and it is definitely working properly now I'm so excited as that was the ONLY issue that I was having!! Let me know if it works for you!

***FIXED!!!*** I wanted to let everyone know that I inadvertently fixed my problem of the seat not returning to the preset position after turning on the ignition... I accidentally dropped a credit card down the right side of the seat and in order to retrieve the card I had to move the seat all the way up and all the way forward in order to reach the credit card from behind... well I pushed the 1 button to return the seat to its preset position afterward (as it was all the way up and forward and I could not get into the car with the seat that way, and now my entry/exit is working properly!!! I wanted to wait for awhile afterward before posting what happened to make sure, and so far so good!!

:/ I guess I will contact my dealer now as well. I absolutely love the car in every way... just need to get that fixed then it will be perfect.

I purchased my 2011 Edge Sport this past Saturday and all is well except for I have the same issue that the seat will not pull forward automatically (to memory set position 1 (or 2 for that matter)) when I start the car. It is exactly the same problem as is described in my quote... any ideas? I've done the programming in acc only mode and that didn't fix it. I really don't want to have to take it back to the dealer as it's quite a distance, so I thought I'd try here first... Thanks!
