  1. I feel ya....my sleep hours are crazy...

So, change of plans again. We are coming to your area tomorrow instead of this eve. My wife is still learning to read and she realized her class does not start until 12:00 tomorrow. I will call you as soon as I drop her off at the Gwinnett center to see what you want to do.

  2. I was going to ask you if you are planning on running a microwave in there. I read further on and sure enough you are!! Hehehe...Hey, throw a garbage compactor, a dishwasher, and sink and you will never have to leave your Edge. I'd live in my Edge for certain!

Anywho...good luck with your install. I think you will have the best luck trying to go thru the firewall near the steering column. I've run stuff through there and that rubber is very forgiving and there is actually a good bit of room around the cable bundle.

    peace out.....

  3. POS means piece of shit...I was trying to be politically correct. The shop just tore out one side of the stock box and then opened up the mount opening enough to accommodate the change in size. The stock Sony amp is anemic so I added a 300 watt Rockford Fosgate amp to help out the new 10" sub. It's been a while since I did it but I believe that mod cost a total of about $575 to include the amp, custom work on the box, an Audio Control LC6i for integration and the low profile pioneer sub.

  4. The wiring harness should already be there for the turn signal. My guess is that they do not change the wiring on the models. It would cost more to have multiple wiring layouts across the different models. Anyhow, it won't be cheap but I bet it is an easy mod.

  5. My favorite shop in Augusta Georgia did a small mod on the factory box and put the low profile ibFlat 10" Pioneer sub back there and you would never know by looking at it that anything was changed. Turn something on with a little bass in it and THEN you can tell for sure. The 8" Sony sub that came from the factory is a POS.

  6. I would venture to guess that there is actually about 1/2 gallon left when it quits on you. You could probably use some of that if you gt on a severe angle. You never ever want the fuel lines to run totally dry. That's why not all the tank is available to you. I think.....

  7. Has anyone switched out the non-lighted door sill plates for the lighted ones? I was wondering if there is a plug in tucked away under the plastic piece that can be pulled off. The instructions say dealer installation recommended but I've never heeded that BS caution before.

    Anyone done this changeover?

    Chris

  8. Love those wheels! Obviously, Ford knows they have a winner on their hands with the Edge because they keep trying new interesting combinations. What other manufacturer gives you so many cool choices in wheels and technology other than BMW or maybe Mercedes? And those two brands charge $4000-$7000 for special wheel and tire packages.
