  1. I live in Canada and when there is a Sirius promo I use to get gas prices 100km away in New York...
  2. They are 3D molded to fit so I don't think you would be able to trim them to fit a different shape.
  3. No too sure what it means but I had my APIM changed a couple of times and my Sirus ESN changed each time.
  4. I have them of the front of my 11. A custom fit as Bking says. They use two of the factory screws each so no drilling and quick to put on.
  5. Since 2011 they have used the stem type TPMS, before that it was the band type. I believe they use different frequencies and can't be interchanged. I don't think you should have problem getting them to use ebay sensors, if they insisted I buy theirs I would find another tire shop.
  6. When mine gets to 0km left and goes red, I still have 10-15 litres left, so another 100km or so. I can go through a whole tank in short distance stop and go driving and it will get 15 L/100km, or a bit better in summer. On road trips I have gotten as low as 7.9 l/100km (usually 8-9 at highway speeds).
  7. Since I am in Canada they don't have the tool, they just changed it. There are detailed instruction on this site for cleaning the contacts; since I will be paying for repairs now I will try that if it happens again.
  8. I got my 17" from tirerack and they do a good job telling you what wheels will fit on your car. I have had my snow tires on three winters now and they enrolled the the car's system automatically without flashing a warning until I put the stock wheels on this spring. It went out by itself after a while. When I ordered from tirerack they called me up insisting I needed the tool. I would have bought one of ebay if it turned out I needed it. Some people on this site don't seem to have them enroll automatically. It seems Canadians have it easier but maybe that is just a coincidence. Note you can train you wheels without the tool, by letting air out of the tires one at a time so it knows the location of each sensor. I tried this on my 2011 Edge and it works.
  9. Thanks for asking FordService. My Edge is currently at the dealer now and while I was typing this they called to say it was fixed. Last weekend the door ajar waring finally started staying on all the time, so it would be easy for the dealer to identify he the issue. I also took the TSB in to make sure they didn't miss it (they did with the phantom wiper issue even though I told them about it). Timing has worked out well, my 3-year warranty is up on Saturday. Time will tell if the door issue re-appears, which I am expecting in a few years.
  10. Tirerack has alloy wheels starting at ~$100 and good tires are a lot cheaper than I can find here in Canada. I got Michelin x-ice for mine as thery are rated high and have low rolling resistance (like the factory Michelins). I have 17" on mine, the overall diameter is very close to the 18" The TMPS sensors are a good idea too, mine were about $170 a few years ago.
  11. I will second rwf on this. I think it is actually stiffer with the hitch installed as the bumper sits on the hitch.
  12. I think I ordered a drawtite but it came in a Cequent box and the instructions had the model numbers of the drawtite, resse and hidden hitch models. I don't know really about the "Pro" brand, but don't imagine they would produce two different models for the same vehicle.
  13. Pro, Resse, Hidden Hitch and Drawtite are all from the same manufacturer (Cequent) and as far as I can tell are the same hitch. There are pictures of them on vehicles on this site. I have one on my 2011 and it fits great.
  14. I wouldn't have guessed that...thanks again. I'll see what they say. Of course it doesn't do it all the time, so there is a chance it won't do it at the dealer and they will say there isn't a problem....
  15. Thanks, I've just started getting the error once in a while and my warranty is up in September.
  16. 30L/100km is the maximum the instant gauge displays. It maxes out since you aren't moving.
  17. Can anyone post TSB 11-11-12? I asked my dealer about phantom wipes and they said they "can't find anything in the system."
  18. I had the same problem on my limited in the winter, first the driver side then a day or two later the passenger side. Stayed that way for about a week then they just started working again. Maybe it is controlled by something that can reset itself?
  19. My front emblem was replaced under warranty too. They had to send a picture to Ford for approval first.
  20. It is 6 feet to the back of centre console. You could have a bit more or less depending on the position of the front seats..
  21. If you sign up for the autoanything email list you will get ad-nausem emails about discounts.
  22. Yes. Also, if you look at them you will find that the Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch and Reese are all the same Cequent hitch.
  23. It is for the manual, mine was in there when it was new. It falls out all the time now though.
  24. The non-matching genre is because of the PCM. Dealers can re-flash it.
