I had the RDS genre issue resolved. The Power Control Module needs to be updated. The dealer worked with Ford to troubleshoot the issue, they replace my APIM, ACM, instrument cluster, APIM again and re-flashed just about everything a few times before Ford figured out it was the PCM (it took them months)

I am still on 3.22 and I had the image upside down this morning. It was fine later. This happened once when the car as new (and on 2.8) but those are the only two times.

Yes, mine had both before the update. Once I noticed they were one degree different, I'm guessing one of them had an update delay.

I seem to consistently get the song info on the non-home screens. I’ve never seen an HD station where I live in Canada so that isn’t a factor in my case. Agreed, they wouldn’t even have to get rid of the “entertainment” label; the song info could fit in the quadrant if they moved things a bit. While were on it, why doesn’t it show my phone battery level in nav, climate or entertainment, It fits fine in the phone screen. I think Ford may have done their focus testing on the new system at a retirement home...

When i got my Edge I asked at the parts counter for the cleaner in the manual. He said they didn't have it and went to the garage to ask what they used....Lexol. I've researched it a bit and it seems it is good for coated leather and ok for vinyl. That's good news since the "leather trimmed" seats are actually mostly vinyl.

Cars are typically ~75 ft-lbs but yes the Edge is 100.

I put on winters with tirerack sensors last fall and they enrolled themselves in my 2011 Canadian Edge. Went back to the stock wheels this spriing with no problems..

In the settings at the bottom of the left hand menu you can set it to enhanced. The will give you more data on the trip computer. I didn't know what was enhanced untill I played with it. There is also a setting in there (somewhere else) for memory on. With that you get back to the same screens when you got up and down.

DRLs are required in Canada. Since all the Edges come down the same assembly line there must be a way for Ford to change it.

Platinum white is metallic too. It doesn't look it on cloudy days though. Looks great but the middle coat makes it more problematic if you ever have to touch up more than a stone chip.

5050 SMD (surface mount) are great LEDs. I order them in strips from China for cabinet lighting. www.dealextreme.com -free shippng but it takes a month...

I picked up my new 2011 FWD Edge last week. The exhaust seems low in the middle. I see why the front end is where it is, but it drops down after the first muffler and stays that level until it turns up the reach the rear mufflers. It is 3 inches under the body and 2 inches under the rear suspension cross member. My other cars (Japanese) have had the exhausts tucked up as high as they can. Is the large space normal for an Edge? Thanks
