  1. So I've been told. Arizona's freeways are similar. Still wish I had those in the midwest, or rather any street that had a section that I never had to worry about my speed.
  2. Man, I get a consistent 19 mpg on my hilly 55 mph roads with some flat freeways and a small town of 25 mph. I'm planning a 2200 mile round trip to Florida next week. Hopefully the odometer doesn't make me kill myself, and I pray for the mpg's y'all are getting. The mountains through the Virginia's kill it! Four people in it with a big subwoofer/box and all the luggage. Just sounds like a nightmare.
  3. v2 with the top hue is my vote.
  4. Dingo, tell us how to do such a thing. Some bright light would be nice for those really dark locations with the windows tinted. Bright ones in a lit parking lot might be necessary if you happen to be next to a suburban or lifted truck so a car coming down the same isle could see you before you start moving.
  5. Jealous of the Autobahn, I like pushing it past the speed limits when theres some open road, by a little more than a bit. I think it handles real well, even though I have the first gen. I've noticed that even at freeway speeds (65-70 mph) *unfortunately I don't live with Arizona speed limits* I don't get much pull of drift from the wind so it's easy to keep straight.
  6. Thanks, Dingo. I expected them not to be allowed to put that in there (gov't bs) LOL, and since my car didn't come with a paper one and I don't find the online one easily navigatable, I thought I'd ask.
  7. Just to let everyone know, I'm taking my car in for a 75k check-up on Thursday. Gonna have them run over the inspection and take a look at the roof. I'll let ya know what they say.
  8. Does anyone know if this works before I spend ten minutes in the freezing cold? http://www.ehow.com/how_7270609_disable-ford-edge-seat_belt-alarm.html
  9. I'd agree with dingo. Maybe make it a timeline? Older edges on the left, interior and exterior shot, faded into the shots of the new one? 2014 Sport concept on the far right, maybe? I'm partial to the imperial blue of the first gen... LOL Looks great though! **edit: maybe include the handles of the corresponding edge in smallish print in the shots? Credit where credit is due, yeah? hah
  10. I'll probably make that phone call today. I also have a discounted full inspection to do before Spring Break and hopefully I can get them to just disable the TPMS failure message LOL Damn mandates.
  11. Maybe I'll ask my eye-doctor about that... hmmm.
  12. Actually, Dingo, you've inspired me to consider a 50% tint to the windshield and a brow. Not sure how the small town coppers would feel about it, though.
  13. I'll probably send an email. My panoramic's motor's being on the bring of death. It hesitates to close, and pulses the entire time it's trying. It opens fine, though.
  14. Finally got around to getting a picture at night. Look forward to getting some lights from kc for the dome and license plate. Maybe those will make me swap these current ones out, too. LOL
  15. Now that I've had mine for almost a year, I feel like I can evaluate this: - Projector Headlights - LED interior lighting - restructure the vents so the air can be aimed better - blindspot mirrors - a more powerful sunroof motor - tighter seals on the taillights (to prevent moisture inside) - LED taillights - not-so-slanted headrest - softer cloth seats - leather-wrapped interior pieces the top of my steering wheel's leather is worn down from all the baking in the sun and clutching it to drive. The plastic right under the windows becomes faded really easy. I may add more, but I love the car.
  16. Found the picture of the kit. LOL
  17. Is this a kit or did you have this professionally done? I have plenty of places where the plastic is faded or scratched that bother me. How much?! Looks great!
  18. My '08 doesn't. I currently have the light blinking telling me that something's faulty with the TPMS... I just wanna rip the thing out. I can measure my own tires.
  19. *disclaimer* I'll continue to update this with everything I do to the car just to have my own little record of everything, feel free to comment! Started on those interior lights. I'm on that college grind... LOL Once I put them in, I noticed the difference in sizes... ...different sizes, but it doesn't seem to matter. It's cold out, and it's a twenty minute walk to my car, so I'm gonna put off testing them for a bit. More to come, hopefully soon, and I hope they match! **edit: Oh, and by the way, I got flashed for the first time for my lights, by an explorer :do what: and I had my fogs on.
  20. I love my system. Got it cheap off Amazon, and luckily for me, the place I had it installed bought my garbage bypass and gave me one of their best for the difference. I love small, local business. Didn't even need the spare key I bought for $125... grr. LOL I'm sure you'll be happy with yours!
  21. I can atest. I've loved mine through the winter and every rainy day. Keeps the carpets clean and they look so much nicer than a typical all weather mat since they're digitally measured and not left to wiggle around.
  22. Ouch. I love my WeatherTech floor mats... Thought about the Window visors, too. After seeing Dingo's pic, I'm glad I didn't pull the trigger on those. The more people I see getting that scion protector, the more I want it.
