the guy at the dealership told me that the system must be hookup to the radio and when you're backing up it should lower the volume of the radio and the beeping should be loud as i'm backing up. any clue?? maybe the guy is a bullshiter??

hi everyone. I own a 2008 Edge SEL AWD with 51 000 km or 32 000 miles on it. I change the original radio for a JVC KW-ADV60BT DVD/CD/USB. my question is: is it possible to connect the backup aid assistance to the car radio like the original?? the dealer told me that with the original radio, when you put the truck in reverse,the sound of the radio is lowering letting you hear the beeping sound as you backing up. i would like to have the same with my radio if it's possible. now if i wanna hear the beep, i have to lower the radio myself Thank you Pascal thank you

WWW_CA do you have a law in BC that you have to have Winter tires by a certain dates or you get a ticket?? in Québec we are obligated to have winter tires by the 15 of december until the 15 of march. P.

hi, i bought some LED 3157 LED for my 2008 EDGE SEL but like usually I have the HYPERFLASHING LED LIGHT. I saw on another website that i can add a 6 OHMS 50w resistance to cure the problem. I went to my usual electronic store(MADISSON) for us guys from Montréal, and they only had 8 OHMS 50w resistance. question: is it going to cure the HYPERFLASHING even if its not a 6 OHMS resistance?? HI! I'm with SiriusXM and i have the same problem, been on the phone with them and they told me that with some clouds and turbulence, you can have bad reception, some it's fine and some day it's horrible. nothing to do with that. changing the antenna won't help. Pascal

i will go with 17'' on mine, it's cheaper, and for performance, buy Pirelli tires. why do you want performance with winter tires?? just asking?? Pascal

Is there anyone in this forum that experienced winter with snow lion winter tires from Triangle company(China) on their EDGE?? the reviews says that they compare to Blizzaks winter tire's. And for another aspect, they are half the price of Blizzak's! I never heard of them. Thanks :stats: Pascal

Yes, its the factory version. for the radio, i have to almost mute the radio to hear it. i will try to ask the dealer on monday. Pascal

HI folks!! I'm new here in the EDGE owners club with a 2008 EDGE SEL(used to have a 2000 Ford ExplorerXLT) I would like to change my original Ford radio with no Bluetooth on it to a KW-AV60BT From JVC! Don't know if it fits or if I need a special harness for it?? Can you help?? Pascal
