UPDATE: Problem was fixed over a month ago. Ended up not being a broken baffle but a loose piece of metal piping in the exhaust system before reaching muffler ( about under center of car like I originally said). Local shop fixed it good for about $50, not bad to have a normal sounding car again and no problems since. Sorry for the late update but I've been very busy with work and school.
Hope no one else has a similar problem because places find it hard to pin point problem. Thanks for everyone's help.

Benny,
Which side is which for those fog bezels? I only need to purchase passenger side

I didn't do the ebrake, it seemed like it was to much. This looks stock. There is always the sport pedal set but they are spendy. I had the sport pedals in my sport but I like these better. They are really grippy so when your shoes are wet they don't slip at all.
Where did you end up getting those? How hard was it to drill through and are there instructions on where to drill etc?

Benny,
Looking for price on Fog Light projectors on 2008 Edge and fog light bezels as well.
Thanks
Also, do you have the specs on the projector? I looked on fordparts.com and they give no sizing or anything for part# 15200....Specifically looking for overall diameter and lens diameter.
Thanks

Have you considered doing a short write-up on your process? Specifically where you tapped into for the power, etc. I had something like this a few years back and decided to get rid of them, I want a more professional, clean job than my first go around.

Are you running a wiring harness also?

Followed the video and the vista roof is opening quicker and closing much quicker than before. Seems to be getting better each run through as well (helping lubricant spread evenly across rails).
Thanks again for the great write up and video to help with this annoying problem.

I'm curious as to if Dan would be interested in doing a similar look with the 3rd Brake light....I asked him about it but he's been busy and hasn't let me know yet.

So I recently purchased a set of the DTBL LED Tail Lights from Dan for my 2008 Edge. I was on the fence about getting them for awhile but after talking to him, I decided to go with it. I've had them installed for a couple weeks now and I couldn't be happier! I got the new SPORT Shadow Black option and its a great median between blacked out and stock tail lights. I had stock blacked out tail lights from VHT NiteShades before and I was nervous about giving up that tint on the back of the car (I liked the black on black look). But after getting them, they look great on the car and pictures don't do it justice at all...I was nervous at first because they looked a little too red inside under artificial lighting but I put them on the car and was blown away. The lighting at night is amazing as well. LED reverse lights are bright and help visibility at night. Blinker function for the 07-10 model makes it a one of a kind Edge. It was probably the best upgrade I've purchased for the Edge based on the price. I would encourage anyone who is on the fence about these lights, to just go ahead and get them! You will not regret it and will instantly feel that no one else will have the same Edge as you. Pictures below...feel free to comment or message if you have any questions...http://www.drivebright.com

Installed my new DTBL LED tail lights last week. Just got some decent pictures...plan on doing a full write up since I believe not many ppl have purchased the 07-10 LED tail lights from Dan. I went with the new Shadow Sport option. As you can see in the pictures below, they are not blacked out like my VHT ones were but its better that way. They're safer, you can see the LED features during the day, and they probably appeal to a more general audience now (better for when I sell the Edge). So I'm very happy with these and like I said will be doing a better write up soon

It's my understanding that they are in the muffler....I'm not an exhaust expert or anything...I just looked it up (never even heard of it before).

UPDATE: So the mechanic found that it is a loose/broken baffle in the exhaust system. So definitely happy it has nothing to do with the engine....unfortunately, the mechanic doesn't do exhaust work so I have a exhaust shop that can do the work next weekend (I need the car all week). At least I get to enjoy my brand new bumper and painted grille!

That's more similar to it than previous video but mine is not all the time...mostly just when I start the car after it sits for a few hours and when I hit the gas. It's worse in colder weather as well. Just got an oil change less than a month ago so that's all good and oil pressure seems to be ok via the dash so I'm going to have the mechanic look everything over. He's pretty good at finding the problem so hopefully it will be a quick fix.
Thanks for the info.

No mine's not quite that bad and it's not the same sound...I'm leaning strongly towards a vacuum leak. It sounds like a air leak when stepping on the gas. Almost like I have a diesel engine haha but we'll see...It seems pretty common with the F-150s and they came up with vacuum leak also so I'm hoping it's just that and nothing too serious...

Well the problem is back....not so much a rattle now but a weird growl instead. It even makes the noise when I start the car so I have no idea what's going on...the noise seems to be associated with the revs of the engine. I'm having it looked at next Friday by a family mechanic...car will be in body shop this week getting a new front bumper. I will update once I know what's going on.

Finally got around to painting the calipers. Didn't have the time or tools to take the wheels off so I just covered the necessary spokes that were near the calipers and painted through the gaps. Luckily the new wheels have more space than the stock wheels. Turned out pretty good for the first time I've ever done this to any car...some mistakes but not visible from a few feet away so that's all that matters. I think it looks good...went with G2 Caliper Paint Kit. Would definitely take the wheels off for future applications so it's not as tedious.

Added some new fog lights today. Went with the Morimoto 5k XB LED fogs lights from TRS. Really happy with how they turned out, pure white light and gives me a wider range of light when needed. Also gives the car a better look too. Got the Edge washed over the weekend so it looks really good right now. Had a few minutes at night to capture a few pictures with all the new LED upgrades complete.

Lights look good! Way less glare on the dash, nicely done. Sync emblem near shifter?
Yeah I taped off the SYNC emblem as I wanted to keep it looking as stock as possible...Just ordered G2 Caliper paint today, hoping that comes in quickly so I can get the calipers painted before I leave town for a week.

Not trying to flood the thread or anything but got some pictures of the painted dash by the shifter, LED trunk light and LED license plate lights today.
The trunk light has great output and will definitely help during the summer when driving more at night and taking some road trips. License plate lights didn't change much except for the color but that's mostly what I was going for...and the painted dash is just awesome. Looks much better with the color scheme of the interior and got rid of that terrible glare that can blind you. Looking to paint dash trim around stereo when I have some free time.- 1

I'm digging your rims and your running boards!
Looks great Nice wheels, nice lights ... ahhhhhhhh ...
Thanks guys. I'm really happy with how the rims look. I think it will look even better when I get a chance to paint the calipers red as well...just waiting on consistent warm weather up here in Cleveland...Definitely happy with all the upgrades so far, they're small but make a cool difference IMO. I'm currently looking into some options for LED turn signals and fog lights so hopefully that will be happening soon!

I would also like to see pictures of those...I've been looking at options for this lately.
