That's what they hinted at...I couldn't see when I got on the ground and looked underneath the car. They said something could have just gotten stuck and the wind was blowing against it as I was driving. My thought is that it can't be all that serious if the issue has gone away for over 4 days and for over a couple hundred miles of driving on the highway but we'll see...Thanks for the help.

Update: So shockingly the noise went away right before I took it in. Decided to still drop it off anyways to get it checked out just in case...they checked heat shield, whole exhaust system for leaks, etc. Nothing. Haven't heard the noise since or had any problems so hopefully it was just a freak thing. Plus the shop didn't charge me for looking at it for about 30 min so all is well.

Sweet updates! Looking forward to the pics & your review of the new lights (staying away from filter discussions lol) ...
Haha yeah I don't need to debate about which filters are the best, performance, etc. I only got the AEM filter so I could reuse it instead of getting new ones every year...and the cabin air filter was bad....most of it was dark grey and my fiancé even noticed an instant change it the smell after having the A/C running so that's always a plus. Will have pictures and review of lights posted one day this week if I get a day with good weather.

Installed DTBL puddle lights, DTBL license plate LEDS, Reverse light LEDs, Trunk light LED, OEM cabin air filter and also an AEM DryFlow air filter. Also painted the portion of the dash with the cupholders this week. Will be painting the part by the stereo this week hopefully...Also getting the red stars for my KMC 775s this week too so I'll be updating with photos of everything after I'm all done.

Awesome man thanks. I'll update after this weekend, hopefully with an answer and fix.

No, nothing hit underneath in a long time. Just driving on crappy roads in Cleveland, Ohio....is anything you mentioned very expensive to fix? I've never really had any big problems other than routine stuff

I recently noticed that there is a loud rattle when I press the gas pedal (while in park or moving) and it sounds like it is coming from the exhaust piping in the middle (at connection of front and back doors) of the car, underneath. I had my buddy take a look under there and nothing seems to be visibly shaking but it's loud enough to hear while driving with the radio on....almost sounds like I'm driving a freaking go-cart around town.
Just wondering if anyone has encountered the same thing or may have some insight....taking it to a local muffler place that my buddy has gone to a lot with his old car, but I don't want to get ripped off since I don't know exactly what's wrong.
Anything will help, thanks.

I'm selling both of my OEM puddle lights off of my 08 EDGE SEL. I upgraded to the DTBL puddle lights and no longer need these. I have them posted on eBay where you can see pictures and also can contact me through there. I'm open to debating on the price. Just looking to get a little money back. Reasonable price for those who need a replacement or want to do a cool Puddle Light project. They are fully functional.
Thanks

I believe multiple people installed them on here and a few may have made installation videos...just search DTBL DRL tube install and you should get something...

I did purchase the Puddle lights for my 08 Edge and license plate LEDs were included with them. They are awesome! Bright white light and easy install for both.

Good products, I have their '07-'10 taillight set installed, buy buy buy
How do you like the 07-10 LED taillight set? I am interested but holding off for right now...is light output good? I'm trying to wait and see if they come out with a blacked out/smoked set.

I also saw the sport pedals on your site....Part BT4Z-9G757-A. Do those slip on just like the factory pedals or is there drilling required?
-
Well that sucks...but from your response it seems like the Ford pedals just slip off?
-
I know that the whole front comes out....silver panel with black surrounding vent panel as well...but I would rather just take silver part out if possible but I don't want to try to pry it out of there and then break tabs off. Please let me know if anyone has this confirmed. Thanks

I was looking around for alternatives to the plain black foot pedals on my 08 Edge SEL and ran across these...http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Aluminum-Gas-Brake-Footrest-Pedal-Set-For-Ford-Edge-20112014-AT-/171306997943
I've never changed foot pedals in a car before, was wondering if anyone has either taken their foot pedals off before or have changed them. Wondering how hard the removal/install would be and what it entails...drilling, etc?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

How much for the center armrest (covers center storage bin) for the 2007-2010 models in black shipped to 44304?
-
Is it possible to just remove the dash panel around the stereo and climate area (silver part) instead of taking the whole upper panel off? I just need the silver part off in order to paint it, and I really don't want to have to tape all of that off....thanks.

Did you have to cut into the lower grille at all to make this fit?

What brand is this?

Picture?

Check fuses as well.

Yeah that would be fine. Send me clean pictures of all the wheels when you can
What have you done to/with your Edge/MKX today?

So finally got some pictures of some of the lights and the rims with the red stars installed. Couldn't get a good picture of the LED reverse lights but they look nice. Didn't get one of the LED license plate lights either....I did get the puddle lights though and the trunk light too. Pictures below...
I'm happy with all of the LED upgrades so far, no problems and the light looks great especially the puddle lights. Got an oil change today and had some oil system cleaner run through the system as well. Used some Techron Full Fuel System Cleaner this week too so the Edge is all ready for summer! Have to clean the inside and outside tomorrow as we're supposed to have a decent day here in Cleveland, OH.
