    Some of the A7 SD cards fail within a few weeks (my THIRD one just quit). Fortunately, the provider (company's name is "HERE") acknowledges that there is a problem, and, they have been good to work with. I'm glad I saved the ancient, outdated A3 card that came with the car for use in these trying times.

    So I offered to check my wife's purge valve... she wouldn't cooperate.

    I'm pleased to report that a SYNCH 'master reset' solved the problem immediately. The 'live traffic' info. is no longer intermittent, and in fact, traffic flow is now displayed on major state highways as well as the interstates.

    The next day it chose to not display live traffic at all (whether a route was selected or not), but today it has decided to work again... i know, a quintessential first world problem.

    Thanks, enigma-2. Today it worked for a while, then disappeared again. So just for fun I selected a local 'destination' and it immediately reappeared, and remained active for the duration of the drive, even after I cancelled the route. Anyway, it looks to me like this is an issue with SiriusXm, not Ford.

    Recently added 'traffic' to the SiriusXm account for this feature, and it works about half of the time... no change after two 'refresh' attempts by Sirius, and they've confirmed that there is not an 'outage' in my area. The fact that it's intermittent has me stumped. Any ideas?

    Just went through this with my 2013, and in my case, any improvement from spraying was either coincidental or temporary.

    Haz and Waldo, you are correct...turns out a family member had opened and closed a door right before I came out and found one of the map lights on...(thought it had been on for about 24 hours)...should have waited 11 minutes before freaking out! Thanks

    when a front row map lamp is turned on by pressing the outer edge of the clear lens, it will remain on until turned off in the same manner...(regardless of the passage of time, and/or subsequent use of the vehicle).

    As RJG reported, every few days now, and for no apparent reason, the screen will go blank, while it performs "scheduled maintenance"...what's up with that?
