  1. I've also noticed that these seals can be sticky. Lately mine were sticky, and would stick to the glass and slide back as the glass opened. So another trick I've used for the seals is to rub a little baby powder on them. I've done this for years on the rubber seals on my RV slide-out. Keeps them from being sticky and other things won't stick to them when they slide.
  2. I used both K&N drop-in filters and K&N CAI's for years on many of my cars. I've cleaned/re-oiled the filters at the recommended intervals and never, ever had a problem with over-oiling and/or damage to the MAF. It's just a matter of not spraying on too much oil, and then letting the filter sit for a sufficient amount of time to allow the cotton gauze to fully absorb all of the oil that has been applied. Not sure how much actual HP I've gained in the vehicles with K&N's, but my "butt dyno" usually notices a slight difference. The biggest bonus for these in my opinion is the fact that you never have to buy another air filter as long as you own the vehicle. The cost of the K&N filter vs. replacement paper filters is usually recouped in a few years, depending on your driving habits and environments.
  3. Is this a full set of four vent visors?
  4. Is it unlocked? Did you return your Edge back to the stock tune? Are the three tunes custom tunes? If so, what are they?
  5. It's not necessary, but it's a good idea so you can maximize the engine's performance through the better breathing intake/exhaust systems. My plan is to install a Gibson 619630 stainless exhaust, K&N 77-2583KS intake, & then buy a SCT X4 w/custom tunes from Torrie at Unleashed Tuning.
  6. When I first bought the KUDA mount, I also purchase an "iMega Cradle" to use with it. After I changed my phone case to a Lifeproof case, the iMega cradle was no longer compatible, so I took it off and bought a different holder to use with the KUDA mount. So, I have an iMega Cradle for sale if you're interested. I've linked it below. http://www.kudausa.com/iphone-5--5s-kuda-imega-cradle-for-the-iphone-5-a1066.html PM me if you're interested.
  7. Sorry it took so long, but here are some photos of the KUDA mount installed in my Edge.

  12. I've been wondering how to do this mod also. On my wife's 2012 Fusion, both of the front window switches on the driver's door are auto-up/down. Other than that feature, the switch looks identical to the one in my Edge. Seems like it may be an easy mod just to buy a Fusion driver's switch assembly and put it in the Edge. Thoughts?
  13. I'll try to take a picture of my KUDA mount and post it here tonight.
  14. It's a two-part system. The leather KUDA mount clamps around the dash trim. Then a second item attaches to it with 3M body molding tape. KUDA offers several add-on mounts from which to choose, depending on your particular device. See my original post in this thread for links to the KUDA mount for the Edge and the iMega phone clamp that goes with it that I'm selling.
  15. I can't do it right now, as I'm at work. But I'll try to post something a few pictures in the next few days. Did you click on the "larger view" links in the photos on those pages? They give a little better view. Basically, the KUDA mount in the first link clips around the trim piece, the the "iMega" cradle in my second link attached to the KUDA mount with 3M body-side molding tape. It's solid as a rock. Here's a link to the instructions for mounting the KUDA mount on the console trim that has a few more pictures: http://www.kudausa.com/manuals/295885_kuda_navigation_mount.pdf
  16. That's why I went with the KUDA mount. A mount on the passenger side dash trim was too far of a reach for me in the driver's seat. More importantly, it would seem to me that having anything mounted on the passenger-side dash area would pose a serious safety risk, as it could interfere with the normal operation/deployment of the air bag. And finally, I chose the KUDA mount for the trim just to the right of the MFT screen because to me it presented the most "clean", "almost factory" looking installation of any mount out there.
  17. I have a KUDA mount. It mounts on the console trim and is encased in leather. Looks great. I also had one on my 2004 Sport Trac. They offer two different ones for the Edge. One mounts down low, and the other mounts up near the MFT screen. I tried the lower one, but it interfered with the cup holder so I exchanged it for the higher one,and love it. I don't have any pictures right now, but you can check them out at the link below: http://www.kudausa.com/kuda-custom-leather-mounts/ford/edge-since-2011-k686.html Also, are you using an iPhone 5? If so, I've got a mount from KUDA for the iPhone 5 for sale that goes with the piece above if you're interested. See the link below for info on this mount: http://www.kudausa.com/iphone-5--5s-kuda-imega-cradle-for-the-iphone-5-a1066.html
  18. Thanks for the feedback. I was aware that both systems were stainless steel. My Edge is indeed FWD, so the Gibson system should fit just fine. However, I wasn't aware of the chambered vs. packing design difference between the two brands. I've had Flowmaster mufflers on several vehicles, so I'm familiar with the chambered muffler sound. In fact, I really like that sound. So knowing that, and the fact that the Gibson system generally runs about $300 cheaper than the Magnaflow system; I think I'm going to install a Gibson system as soon as the funds become available.
  19. So when are these tail lights going to be available on your website for all to purchase, and how much will they cost?
  20. How did you find out about these? I don't see them on their web site.
  21. With just over 36,000 miles on my 2011 Limited, this part failed. My dealer's service manager was aware of the problem, had the part in stock, and is replacing it free under the CPO warranty today.
  22. I bought a CPO 2011 Limited last month. Over the last few weeks, this problem has surfaced and seems to be getting worse. I've added it to my list of warranty issues for a trip to the dealer soon.
  23. Gee, was my original posting really that difficult to understand? Because I thought I made my question pretty clear...
