  1. Yup; you'll probably need a new camera soon. This is exactly what happened to me and eventually the camera died altogether. When buying be careful to get an OEM camera otherwise the grid lines will not be available. Most of the cheaper cameras (around $50) are fakes; The camera will work but they do not support the lines.
  2. There may be an option on your phone to confirm every connection. Suggest erasing pairing from both phone and sync then repairing. Be careful when answering the questions wrt confirming connections. I had this issue a couple of years ago and by selecting not to confirm each connection the issue stopped.
  3. There is a version checker that you can download from sync site once logged in. Txfer to thumb drive and plug into car. Results will tell you the installed version.
  4. No toolbox in my 2012. Only pouch containing jack and lug wrench under spare.
  5. You should check to be sure it can't be repaired; your description of the size is near the limit. Most insurance companies do not charge for such repairs as it prevents further cracking and does not cost them a replacement. Had mine repaired after a rock hit and you can barely see where it was.
  6. You might want to check the bulb sockets for overheating or corrosion. Poor connections to the bulbs could cause your issues.
  7. Just updated my 2012. Done in 24 minutes without any problems. Had to do the usual things like repair phones, reset voice commands to advanced, etc. Presets and waypoints/points of interest were intact. Only issue is I seem to have lost the custom wallpaper I had but that's easy to reinstall.
  8. Maybe gas in tank if gas level is low?
  9. I had the smell problem in my 2012. This problem is not unique to Ford or Edges either. Replacing the cabin filter (severasl times) did not cure the problem. Saw recently that a 50:50 combination of water and hydrogen peroxide misted into the outside air intake while the fan is full speed and the system in AC mode helps. Tried it a week ago and the smell disappeared and has not returned yet. A very simple solution (so far at least).
  10. I've got over 750 Kms on the DTE when on trips and after the first refuel. The DTE seems to be based on the last (one or two) fuel consumption calculations made. So on a long hwy trip the DTE numbers will go up.
  11. You should check the coolant level as a heater core leak will result in an excess of moisture inside the vehicle.
