  1. Using ford IDS application and VCMII or VCM, a battery monitoring system reset is necessary. "BMS reset procedure"
  2. replaced the seals but, the leak showed up after 100 miles, the shaft journal is POS and im buying a new shaft. im king of failure.
  3. i need some used parts for my 11 edge limited AWD 3.5L as follows: 1- air bag module 2- driver seat module 3- passenger seat occupant classified module 4- SONY amplifier 5- 1 18" chrome clad wheel or just wheel cover 6- wheel nuts. shipping to 34238 FL or 75050 TX thanks

  5. ordered a new shaft from ebay, damn this will travel overseas and cost me 150 at least! in addition to the new damaged installed seal.

  7. im located in baghdad and i have too many parts order from the us, but shipping similar part with that weight will cost me a fortune. does the shaft from 11-13 explorer fit to the edge?
  8. Found another used shaft from junkjard. Install or not?
  9. the seal washer and deflector are different than the old kit. I hope to find a good used shaft but why not buying a new one 70$ is not too much to stop that damn leak.
  10. Hi. 11 edge 3.5L AWD. RH ATF leak. The manual recommended seal kit # DB5Z-7275-C. The seal washer is little different and the extra seals were recycled. The leak came back after 50 miles. Grrrrrrrr But this was a concern. The shaft journal that the seal seated on was bad. Now I have the same new kit but need an advice. Replace the intermediate shaft due to a bad journal. ?
  11. Hello everyone My friend is asking me to install an OEM rear camera to his 2011 edge sel (it doesn't have the navigation screen ) so it has the human interface machine 1 with the small LCD screed. Is that possible? Thanks.

  13. hello everyone im having this issue with several 11 edge transmissions which became more mysterious to me EVEN with my ford factory diagnostic tool (VCMII). when setting the ignition key in the ON position without starting the engine I can hear a LOW whistling coming from the transmission (im 100% sure) and it keeps coming in all gear floor shift positions (PRNDM), after 10-15 minutes the battery voltage start draining down than 11v untill it die after 30 minutes, all the above is without starting the engine p.s i cant hear it when the engine is running. all fuses relays connectors sensors etc are ok....: no DTC or fault when scanning everything and data logging, im sick looking for the problem!! the whistling goes away by:- 1- setting the ignition to OFF or ACC. 2- disconnecting the transmission main connector (i hear a clicking sound while i do that). 3- disconnecting the PCM connector that going the transmmission. the car was flooded in the USA and the transmission core (valve and solenoid bodies were replaced). the transmission works just fine with no problems at all, up/down shifts o/d etc..everything normal. hope someone tells me that's normal, just replace the battery it is bad!
