  1. I ordered OEM splash guards from the FoMoCo Accessories site for my '13 Edge SEL. Picked it up at my local dealer. Thought I was doing the right thing going with the genuine Ford part. However, I'm not impressed. I'm going to pick up a pair of the Husky brand guards instead. If anyone out there absolutely has to have the genuine Ford part for their Edge or MKX (it fits 2007 to 2014) I have this posted on eBay (item #261658533797). $28 or best offer. No tax and I'll eat the shipping. Not making anything on this, just trying to get as close as possible to breaking even. RE-LISTED 12/26/14 for 30 days. Item #261700084160 Price lowered to $25 or best offer. SOLD
  2. It's on my 13 SEL. All I can tell you is don't buy the genuine Ford add on mud flaps for the rear part of the front wheel well. They're a big disappointment. Get the Husky's instead.
  3. I just ordered them for my '13 Edge after being disappointed by the genuine Ford splash guards (which I am now trying to unload on eBay). I haven't seen a bad review on the Husky's.
  4. I made the mistake of ordering OEM splash guards from the FoMoCo Accessories site for my '13 Edge SEL. Picked it up at my local dealer. Thought I was doing the right thing going with the genuine Ford part. However, I'm not impressed. Judging by the pictures in the wordless idiot instructions the installation appears to be unnecessarily complicated. Beyond my ability or willingness to deal with it, and I'm not paying Ford another $50 to do it for me. After reading the reviews (which in hindsight I should've done first) I'm going to pick up a pair of the Husky brand guards. 6. These are horrible. Horrible. HORRIBLE. I wish I saw this post before I bought the pair. I don't know what's worse, the part itself or the wordless idiot instructions that those of us with a brain can't make any sense of. To make it worse, returns incur a 25% restocking fee and a $25 surcharge, so I'll just quit while I'm ahead and sell these on eBay. Thought I was doing a good thing by going with a FoMoCo part for my Edge, but these are garbage. Can anyone suggest an aftermarket brand that is made for the Edge and goes well with the body side moulding?
  7. Nothing sharper looking than the contrast of the chrome wheels and grille against that Tuxedo Black Metallic paint, right? Good luck with your new ride and welcome.
  8. Chipworkz, the link in your post does nit work, but I looked up vipersaudio on google play and everything is in Chinese. Do I have the correct app? Also, looks like the most recent is for android 4.3 and my S4 is running 4.4.4 Can you tell me if this is the app you were referring to?
  9. Welcome and good luck with the "new-to-you" ride. I have a '13 SEL, also black. Just picked it up as an early lease turn in. Can't beat the look of that black metallic exterior against the chrome wheels & grille.
  10. Primarily leather and wood grain interior trim & upgraded "Sony" sound system. I believe nav also, but could be wrong on that. The links in Is973800's post will tell ypu for sure as long as you have a VIN to put in. Alternately the Ford sales site will give you the details on the variations of the newer models.
  11. Apparently this is something relatively recent. My sales guy wasn't even aware until he checked with the business mgr. It's Ramp Ford in NY. I'll see if I can get more detail, but at that price point I won't be pursuing it further for myself.
  12. I have a '13 Edge SEL w/ non-nav MFT. Dealer is indicating Nav can now be added to non-nav Sync/MFT for $1295. Ouch. Not sure what such an upgrade entails; probably s/w and perhaps a module swap also, but at that price ($400 more than $895 factory price) the $150 Garmin or a Smartphone suctioned to the windshield is lookin' pretty good.
  13. Best of luck with the new ride. Sounds great. I just picked up a CPO '13 SEL just off dealer's wife's lease. 11K miles and looks/runs like new. Saved a ton. Mine is also Tux Black metallic. They look great with the shiny chrome wheels, don't they?!?
  14. Test drove both. The Sport is a real head turner, but so is the SEL or LTD with upgraded 20" wheels and has a much nicer ride. Stay away from the sport 22's if ride comfort is important. Test both and ask yourself if the bigger sport price tag is really worth it. Also, I tested/compared Murano and ended up going with Edge. Good luck.
  15. Welcome and best of luck with the new ride. I just got a deal on a '13 SEL just off lease with 11K miles (dealer's wife's turn in). Looks/rides like brand new. Has a few optional bells & whistles like the BAMR and 20" wheels, but some of the SEL standards are a bit of a let down, especially the sound system. Wish I held out for one with Nav, but in the end couldn't pass up the deal I got. I can always stick a Garmin to the windshield when I absolutely need nav.
  16. Welcome to the forum. I'm new here also. I just picked up a '13 SEL Tux Black Metallic and am loving it so far. My only real gripe so far is that I thought I was getting "upgraded" 20" chrome wheels and later discovered that they were actually "chrome-clad" (plastic skins) over the steel wheels (you don't really know they're plastic covers unless you're right on top of them). Also, in hindsight I wish I held firm for one with Nav, but in the end I couldn't pass up the deal I was getting. This was just off lease with 11K miles on it (dealer's wife's ride. I ended up with what is basically a new car and saved a pile of cash. I'll learn to live with the wheels for now. They look good right now but not sure how they'll hold up long term. Also, the standard sound system is disappointing. I know you have the primo Sony sound system with the Ltd. Do you have the BAMR also or standard roof? Good luck with the new ride.
  17. Welcome and good luck with the new ride. I am a new owner also ('13 SEL) and am new in the forum for the same purpose, to learn as much as possible about my EDGE, what to expect, what to avoid, etc...
  18. Sweet looking ride. I like the charcoal/black interior. I also just picked up a '13 SEL Tux Black Metallic and am loving it so far. I thought I was getting "upgraded" 20" chrome wheels and was a little disappointed to discover that they were chrome-clad wheels (you don't really know they're plastic covers unless you're right on top of them). Also, in hindsight I wish I held firm for one with Nav, but in the end I couldn't pass up this deal; just off lease with 11K miles on it and I saved a pile of cash. I'll learn to live with the wheels for now. They look good right now but not sure how they'll hold up in the long run. Looking for an aftermarket NAV that can integrate with the Sync/MFT, but will probably learn to live with a Garmin suctioned to the windshield when I need one. Good luck with the ride. Let me know what accessories you find and what you end up doing to it.
  19. Congrats on your new ride. I just picked up a '13 SEL FWD and am loving it so far. I thought I was getting "upgraded" 20" chrome wheels and was a little disappointed to discover that they were chrome-clad wheels (you don't really know they're plastic covers unless you're right on top of them). But I got this bad boy just off lease with 11K miles on it and saved a pile of cash, so I'll learn to live with the wheels for now. They look good right now but not sure how they'll hold up in the long run. Anyway, good luck with your 2010.
  20. Congrats on the new ride. Just picked up my '13 SEL and love it.
  21. Best of luck. I also just picked up a '13 SEL. Mine was just in off of a lease. Picked it up with 11K miles and saved a pile of cash. Looks/runs like new.
  22. Sweet looking ride. Good luck. I just picked up a '13 just off lease. The SEL, also Tux Black. Mine has the upgraded? 20" wheels. Thought they were chrome wheels, but was disappointed to discover they were "chrome-clad" (plastic skins) over the steel wheels. Oh well. They look good, but not sure how they'll hold up long term.
  23. P.S. best of luck with yours.
  24. Welcome. I'm new too. I picked up a '13 Edge SEL last week, just off lease with 11k miles. Like new. Found the forum the same way; was googling around trying to get info on adding Nav to the MFT. Anyone know anything about that?
  25. Have a Fusion. This purchase was going to be an Edge or Murano. Couldn't pass up the Edge deal.
