  1. This is what I do on the weekends. [/url] As a matter of fact, this time of year is my main mode.of transportation.
  2. I took mine in right after I bought it and had the switch replaced under warranty. All is good now, no more flashing brights.
  3. My 2013 limited is supposed to have 12, I only know where 10 of those are. 2 in front doors, 2 in rear doors, 2 tweeters in the a pillar, 2 in front of liftgate hanging from the roof, subwoofer, and speaker in Center of the dash. I have no clue where the other 2 are located.
  4. One thing that people do not realize is that tires lose pressure on there own. It is common for tires to lose about 2.5 psi per month. Tires can also lose about 2 psi for every 10 degree drop in temperature. These figures are average numbers, and your change will vary. The reason tires lose pressure with temperature has to do with the moisture in air. That is why high performance applications like racing tend to use nitrogen in their tires, because nitrogen has no moisture in it. That being said, I find it unlikely that both rear tires have an issue, but the mechanic in me would definitely do some further investigation. I would adjust the pressure using a known good pressure gauge. I would then use a soapy water solution on the valve stem, the side walls, tread and beads. Take your time, and use lots of soapy water. Any bubbling could be a leak. If no leak is found, let the tires sit, and recheck pressure after a week to see what you have.
  5. Our other car is A 2014 Mazda CX5, with blind spot monitoring. This car does produce a beep when there is a car sensed with your turn signal on. Something to note it's that if you are in a dual lane turn situation, that beep will go off as you are turning. It is very annoying, and we wish we could turn the beep of.
  6. I'm not sure about the led headlights, but their other products are high quality. I just got some reverse led bulbs from them this week. They are bright and built well. I would definitely buy their other products.
  7. Good point about transmission being at operating temp. It is important that the fluid be at operating temp, and that the transmission has been shifted to all gears. This ensures that all the different valves and the torque converter have all had fluid pump to them. Any mechanic that says you can check fluid without running the engine needs to go back to school.
  8. Transmission fluid level must be checked with the engine running. If the level is in the normal range with the engine off, there is not enough fluid in the transmission, thus causing improper operation.
  9. I'm kind of curious what you are thinking here. Do you want to be able to open just the glass instead of the whole gate? Or are you thinking about the glass rolling down so you can drive with it open? Rolling down might be kind of nice.
  10. That would be my first guess. The older the battery gets, the less range you will have. If your remote battery is over a year old, replace and retest.
  11. Not planning to much for mods. Have weathertech window visors and floor liners on the way. Front windows get tinted on Saturday. I had some led bulbs from the Mazda 3 that I traded in, and started putting the ones that fit in. Just need to order the rest. I convinced the service department to replace my signal switch due to the hard notch. We will see if it is fixed tomorrow..
  12. Pics will follow sometime this week. Didn't feel like taking them in this wonderful Washington rain!
  13. Hello everyone. New member here. I just picked up a white 2013 limited awd this afternoon. Love it so far. Look forward to learning more about it.
