  1. I have Weathertech mats on order and the Ford OEM cargo mat. I'm very happy with it I also added the Ford OEM bumper protector
  2. FYI I think you're in the wrong forum if you're talking about a 2013. This forum is for 2015
  3. Just for reference for everyone, the same thing happened in my MFT equipped Fusion. This isn't an Edge-specific issue. Surround mode utilizes the center speaker in the middle of the dash (this speaker is also used for voice calls and the MFT prompts). I do not know why it reverts back to stereo, but from what I remember on the Fusion forums awhile back the Sony system "senses" whether the input material is 5.1 or Stereo sound and sets it accordingly.
  4. Got the Edge back this afternoon. Dropped it off at 7 and didn't get it back until 2PM. Ford may only pay the dealer for .7 hours, but they sure took their time with it. On the work sheet it mentioned removal and replacement of the cowl and A-pillar. For parts they mentioned the sealant and 1/8" brake hose (?!) My carpets have never been wet to my knowledge, but its only been in light rain once and a car wash once
  5. The bulletin I got says you only get a loaner if you find a leak. of course, you have to have them look at it before they make that determination which defeats the purpose.
  6. I think it can be disabled via the LCD controls to the left of the speedometer but I'm not positive. I haven't had any issues with mine. My fiancee has a '15 Escape Titanium with the tow package and hers is noticeably harder to get to work than mine. My sport has no hitch.
  7. Must be nice - my dealership told me Ford wasn't paying for loaner cars so I'm SOL.
  8. I actually prefer Husky Liners as I have them in my fiancee's '15 Escape and have had a great experience with them save for occasional rubbing against the steering column at the base due to some very close tolerances and minor slippage from getting in and out of the drivers seat. I got similar responses from both WeatherTech and Husky. Originally Husky said they'd be ready by late May. Obviously that didn't happen.
  9. Ditto here as well. Taking mine in on Thursday of this week. Dealer was not well educated on this issue, though, and I was on hold for 20 minutes just trying to make an appointment for it.
  10. The DRLs should be the same for any Edge as they are halogens for all models
  11. +1 to the OP for posting this. I got the same bulbs and put them in no problem. No issues, no dummy lights on the dash, no problems whatsoever. It is possible that being white vs yellow they are less visible to other drivers (defeating the purpose of DRLs to begin with), but they look a million times better. You have no idea just how yellow the stockers were until you see the comparison in person
  12. +1 to this. Seriously, why do people put so much faith in slack jawed local mechanics? Seriously - how many truly GOOD Ford techs are there out there? These are the same guys who tell you that you still need an oil change every 3000 miles. Maybe they'll change your blinker fluid too. Premium fuel does not cause retarding timing. It does the exact opposite. The engine will ADVANCE timing with premium fuel increasing horsepower, torque, and improving throttle response. It is designed expressly to adapt to fuel from 87-93 octane. 101 octane is beyond premium and is close to av gas or race fuel - he's right that you would not want to use that kind of fuel without being tuned for it but mostly because it would be a waste. The stock timing maps do not have programming for such high octane so it would offer no benefit. Only crap fuel would foul plugs.
  13. Looks much improved. I hate the yellow DRL compared to the nice bright white HIDs and LED driving lights. I may have to do this myself! Any "gotchas" with installation, or just unplug, unscrew, and reverse?
