So i was finally able to get it fixed after the ones i kept receiving from drivebright ended up blowing out my middle light bar. After the dealership replaced my bar and installed new OEM bulbs, i ordered these error free LED license plate bulbs from Amazon and they did the trick. Have not had any issues with them so i'd be careful with buying them from drivebright.com. The puddle lights are good though.

Yeah I tried that a few times but it still continues. When the car is off they don't flicker bit then when I begin to drive they start to flicker.

Hey All, Has anyone purchased the LED puddle and license plate bulbs from drivebright.com? I had purchased the set not too long ago and the first set of license plate bulbs began to flicker. I contacted the company and they shipped me out new ones and those worked well for about 2 weeks or so and also began to flicker. Anyone run into any issues like this? It quite annoying to say the least haha. The puddle lights work fine with no issues. Thanks!

Was it difficult to do the swap? Retrofit has them for a good price and have been hesitant to purchase them. Do you have to tear down the whole bumper to replace the lights, or can you just swap them right from the inside the engine bay? I was doing to purchase 5000K. Thank you for any information.

My wife has the 3.5L Titanium and this has only happened once. I was hesitant to report it to the dealership as it had never happened before and was doubtful they would be able to replicate the issue. I has not happened since but it was kind of scary having the car just shut off in a flash. Luckily we were on a side street with no cars in sight. Do you think i should take her car in to have it checked?

My passenger seat cools both back and bottom. The driver seat only cools the bottom. I understand the issue but it does not seem to me like a deal breaker. I have not had any other issues with the Edge and have been satisfied with it. I get no rattles anywhere and the cabin is super quiet. I will continue to look at this thread and see if there has been a remedy to the seat cooling issue. Thanks guys!

Hmm .. i did not even know the back of the seats were supposed to cool too. Now that you guys mention it the back of my seats don't really cool only the bottom does. I have a Titanium. Should i take it to the deal or just wait it out? Does this mean that in the winter time the back of the seats should heat up as well ??

Oh ok I see. I actually have seen them for the D3S housing. Funny as it may seem i saw them on Alibaba.com which is why I asked if anyone had them and if they were worth getting over HID. One reason being is because the HID bulbs (at least a good name brand) for our Edge runs a little over 200 dollars. If i cannot find any other alternative I will buy them soon and see how they look. I will be doing HID change out soon as I hate the stock HIDs lol.

You have LED headlight bulbs installed on your edge? Do you see a big difference between LED and HID? And do you have the link where you got yours? Thanks.

I just traded in my 2014 Mazda 6 for a 2015 Edge Titanium 3.6L V6 AWD fully loaded. The only thing i was unable to put on it was the driver assistance package which was delayed from what i heard. Wife was asking me to get us a SUV since our family is growing. Well as they say a happy wife equals a happy life lol. Surprised her with a Oxford White Edge. She loves it. The technology in it is more than needed but figured we get it so it doesn't go out of date too fast. Thing drives soft and super quiet. We drive it everywhere. No complaints here!

So I have been doing some research and came across LED bulbs for cars. Anyone here familiar with LED headlight bulbs and if they would be practical for our cars?

5500K starts getting too blue for my own taste. I have 5000K on my other car and i like it. Its got a bit of a bluish tint with more white. I am still trying to figure out how to take out the bulb. Doesn't seem easy.

Ok thank you everyone for the input. I will take pictures tomorrow of the stock HID and also check to see how easy it is going to be to take out the stock ones and replace them with new ones. I am more than likely going to purchase 5000K from retrofitsource as i have purchased from them prior and their products were good. I will post pictures once i manage to do the upgrade.

I have 5000k bulbs in my mazda 3 and yes they are more whitish bluish and give me the same visibility my ford edge does but looks better. It's exactly what I'm looking for cause I hate the yellow tinot in the factory HID. So my original question was can I just simply swap out the existing HID with another one?

Yeah but the adaptive lights in the Lincolns don't compare to the ones they have overseas. And if you think about it here in the states we have to pay that premium for that technology while overseas they get it standard or for a small upgrade. And yes I have read that the reason we do not have that technology is because of our DOT regulations which are crazy outdated, some 50 years i believe. Yeah I read about that because it also comes with Adaptive Headlights. That technology is super nice and a shame the US won't get it. I would gladly replace the LED DRL with fog lights and have them housed inside the headlights.

A bit jealous China gets an Edge with a better looking face than its US counterpart. I do hope those fog lights become available to add to my Edge.

Bit it looks nothing like an Explorer? To me it looks like they just straightened out the roof and extended it a bit to accommodate the third row. Aside from that it looks exactly like the Edge here in the states with some better headlights and foggies.

Look at this Edge that is being sold in China. Two sets of projectors along with LED lights in the headlight. Plus it has headlights! Not fair lol

I agree. I also just like how it adds to the facade of any vehicle. I have always had fog lights in all of my vehicles and they have looked cool plus given me extra light in rain, snowy, and foggy situations. I hope they do manage to pop up soon so i could add it to my new Edge. Thanks!

Hello once again, Anyone know if fog lights are available for the new Edge? I have seen some pictures with actual fog lights located in the middle of the front LED enclosure. I have read somewhere that the European model come with them. Any thoughts?

All of my tires are around 40 psi. My ride is as a smooth as butter lol. Can't complain as this is the quietest and smoothest car ride I have had from a car I've owned. What size rims and tires do you have?

Hey everyone, So I just recently purchased a 2015 Edge Titanium that comes with HIDs. Now my question is: Does anyone know if the HID bulbs are easily able to be swapped out? The reason I ask is because I cannot say that I am completely content with the light output of the current factory HIDs. I am not sure what K they are but have a slight yellowish tint in them. I had the same issue and complaint when on my previous car which was a Mazda 6 GT 2014. Unfortunately on that vehicle in order for my two swap out the HID's i had to go through a lot of trouble which i chose not do. I was looking to see if maybe this car was easier to just change out the current bulb and put in a 5000K bulb instead. Thanks for any help!!
