solid lug nuts are now 10.00 for a pack of 4, waist of 48$+ labor, plus scratching my rims, some of them had to be chiseled off and this was only the 2nd time they were touched. i have posted this because this could have been a huge problem on the road if i had got a flat and find out my breaker bar socket and factory wrench would have been useless. seems like a lot of headache for lug nuts, not even my kia had capped lug nuts

i have never seen in my life a capped lug nut, on ANY car i have owned. you put a wrench to these things weather it be air or not and they warp and start stripping. in attempting to replace the OEM capped lug nut that came on my 15 edge se AWD, i have looked up online and in various auto parts stores they list the wrong size even in direct oem replacement. the correct size is m14-1 1.50 which i have to order from dorman. these are solid chrome lug nuts. while im at the tire shop another ford comes in and has the same problem! what is ford doing using these cheap lug nuts? what ever happened to "built ford tough"?

does anyone know how to add new tpms sensors to the car? did a wheel switch and need to program the new wheels. i read its hit the hazard switch 3 times, then left front air out until the horn honks, etc etc....anyone done this before? thanks

this is a big factor for me, id be pretty Teed off if i spent all that money and started noticing these performance losses. what im getting from everything posted so far is stay the same wheel size

thanks a lot guys. i have the stock rims in 18 that come with the SE but im in love with those chrome black ford oems and i think i would get some benefit from upsizing to 19 or 20 in addition to looking better

im trying to find the optional rim sizes that ford provides on this car. from what ive seen, the sel, the se, and the sport all have different rim sizes from 18x8(my default size) up to 20 inch, yet they appear to have the same clearance and suspensions. i am looking at some options to buy ford oem black chrome rims in 19 inch from the fusion and/or explorer but im not sure they will fit or cause any issues with the awd, being this car comes with so many different rim sizes im thinking physically they will fit but not sure if ford changes anything in the ecu from se, to sel, to sport. i hope i explained myself well and hope there is someone here that knows a bit more about this stuff than i do, thanks in advance

this is my first car with a push button start and im having a serious problem with a few things: the car can be started if the doors are opened and the car is separated from the keyfob, its like that odd moment when you get out to put gas or something, if someone were to enter the car they can take the car and i would be standing there holding a keyfob with no car. also the pathetic accessory mode. is there any mods or functions that we can make these cars more secure and get a true accessory mode? (ps there was already an incident in philadelphia where a 2015 edge was involved in a accident, the owner got out and his car was stolen)

seems like i average 17 no matter what mode im in, but i would agree on a long trip i dont need sport mode

can the sport mode be used for prolonged periods of time or will that damage anything?

i have a '15 SE and want to upgrade to a hid kit just for my low beam. i have tried 2 kits and get the same issue....hid set comes on after install without the engine started. once the engine is running the lights go out. after some research all i can come up with is the daytime running light system is causing this..tried disabling daytime running lights via the dash still no luck...support from these kit sellers is bad or non existent , they suggested a wiring harness add on, tried that and no luck. anyone with some experience with subject that can help i would really appreciate it, thanks.
