The defrost does turn on. I was just wondering if I could set something so the mirrors defrost with remote start?

2013 MKX, When I remote start me ride....what turns on the side mirrors to defrost? Everything seems to turn on except the mirrors. maybe I don't have something set right.

I am also interested in this thread, will be lurk'n.

Mine honk's when my wife get's out while the engine is running, doesn't bother me a bit.

Is the tune worth the money? Does it really make a big difference for the 3.7L AWD? Is it easy to load and unload? I want to try this but need more info and research. I want to make sure I can do this with out fk'n something up. I guess what I'm asking is...is it fk up proof?

2013 Lincoln MKX 3.7L AWD I lurk in the shadows most of the time, take notes, listen and read. I have read many things on the tunes you good people have done here, but the other day I seen something, not sure where but they said that if you tune this (my ride) with an LMS tune you will get an extra 50hp out of a stock MKX. Is this true?

I had my factory tint checked and it was at 22%. So I went with 20% on the front. Perfect match!

Does anyone have the divided console like I do?

I do have the duel climate control (13 MKX). Before winter I had no heat on either side and took it in to the dealer for an oil change and ask them to check out the heater also. They had to reprogram the HVAC control module. It seems like they reprogrammed everything because when I got back in it everything was reset back to factory. I did have to reset everything back to where I had it set but the heater has been working ever since.

I still have this problem from time to time. It really doesn't bother me much as it hasn't caused me any real problems, but I do want to fix it. This switch seems to me like it's the way to go. I'll give that a try before replacing the entire shifter. All the threads I've read involve the Edge and I have a 13 MKX. My console seems to be a little different then the Edge pic's that were posted. The MKX console is all wrapped in leather and seems to have less plastic. Does anyone have a link to the disassembly of an MKX console? Does it come apart the same as the Edge console?

I bought my 13 MKX (3 hours north almost 2 years ago), off...cars.com...looked for months for an Edge. The ones I found were in not so good shape, broke door panel, dents, things just not working right for the same money as an MKX. Now that I have an MKX and looked at all the Edge's, The interior in the Edge seems' a little sub standard compared to the MKX. I'm not putting down the Edge by any means. Just looked at a 17 and it was BAD ASS! I was just wondering your thoughts on the MKX vs the Edge? The reason is.... I'm thinking about trading in and want to know your thoughts.

It seems most of everyone here, has an Edge, I was looking for an Edge, 2010 or newer when I found my MKX for less? Why did you go for the Edge instead of the MKX? No harm done, was just wondering?

The ford dealer I go to suggested the same thing to me. They said the battery was low and on its way out. That was a year ago. Still starts right up and were in the winter season now. Starts right up on the coldest mornings. It's the original battery they installed at the factory.
