  1. 3m Is the best IMO but...5%? You have to have problems seeing. I had a blazer that I tinted 5%. I had to roll down the windows to see the around corner. With my Lincoln I went with 20% all around but nothing on the wind shield.
  2. What was the outcome here if you don't mind me asking? Was it the tires?
  3. Just recently replaced my rear brake pads at 78,000 miles, I was also at 3mm. I had rotors turned at the same time, which was required by my local ford dealer.
  4. The "sound screen" logo is part of the black boarder around the wind shield. It will say it in the lower drivers side part of the wind shield.
  5. I have a 2013 MKX, facory 20" wheels, smooth ride.
  6. I drove 3 hours one way to get my MKX....saved thousands!....Well wort it....I looked at the Edge, It was what I was going for. MKX for the same price? No contest there.
  7. Looks good! i have the moor roof. I have the "in the channel vent visors" for a cleaner look, work great!
  8. Was just asking, I have mine tinted to 20% and I love it! Yours would look great at 20%.
  9. Not to change the subject but, have you tinted the front windows since the pic?
  10. I have noticed the same thing when washing and i can't grab the handle too fast either, grab, hold a second then pull.
  11. I throw mine in the seat, everything comes across the screen.
  12. Yours came with a new boot and knob? Only shows one shifter for 2013 Lincoln MKX. I need to do this soon.
  13. Subscribing to this thread, not trying to butt in, thanks
  14. In the channel will work and looks clean! Better then the stick on crap. You need to do a little modification though! Chamfer the edges before installing, so the window will push by them. I did this with my 13. It took a little work but,...works perfect! I also had to use a little extra double sided tape on the sides. As long as the windows don't hit anything....your golden! The windows work just like factory.
  15. The bra will tear your paint up.
  16. Changed the oil/filter, rotated the tires and had the HVAC control module re-programmed yesterday at the dealer, (cause I had no heat). Replaced the cabin filter (STP CAF1850P) and the air filter (FRAM CA10242) today. Took me a total of 5 minutes for both. Almost let the Dealer replace these yesterday when I was there. Glad I didn't! This was too easy... Anyone replaced the seat filters? I would like to do this next but not sure where to get them from. Give me a link of where you guy's got yours from.
  17. LOL...They must have reset everything back to factory. I've been adjusting everything all day.
  18. HVAC control module needed re-programmed, $95, a ten minute fix. While I was there I had the oil changed and tires rotated.
  19. Have an appointment 9/2 at the dealer. Lets see what gong on with this thing. I'll keep you guys updated.
  20. Looks like it goes in the shop as soon as It can (Lincoln dealer only). Needs an oil change anyway.
  21. I was just sitting here thinking. If my heater hose is hot going in and hot coming out then my heater core is good right? If I don't have heat on either side and have the duel climate control then it can't be my blend door, cause I would have heat on at least one side, right? My antifreeze is full, fuses are good. This is starting to sound like the thermostat. Doesn't it?
