It seems to be a over time tolerance issue with the gears inside the wheel itself so they have revised the design internally and also I believe updated some software as well. For some they just got a revised clock spring but and I think they are okay but some came back from that so they went back and just fixed the core issue of the wheel itself I guess. FYI: My wheel was replaced and is same on the outside but my down arrow on the left side controls is a little finicky while my original wheel was perfect. I was not gonna fight them on this though as the wheel works fine and tracks fine. Malcolm

If using the MAC, format the flash drive as FAT in disk utility (it will format it as fat32 but apple calls it this). The car will say updating and then it will show in the top black section only a picture of a update icon I believe till it's done. I did it a while ago so don't fully remember but it should show a message without a prompt then begin then show a message with a prompt at the end. Looks like it's operating properly yeah. I will look at what mine gets next time I use AA. Should not show anything till its done. I started the car stuck in my flash drive it said it was gonna update then I drove for around 30 minutes and it said done and to turn off the car so I did and made sure to open the door so sync shut off then waited 5 minutes to turn the car on again and then drove around for another 10 minutes till the nav portion came back. No, that is the charge rate with screen off. My discharge is normally with screen on at around 150mA with 3 emails and some other push stuff. Also I read Lildiscos charge rate as 3xxx not 2xxx so their charge rate is fine but I'm wondering if aa is not letting their phone go in a low power STATE or if they have some kinda wack add app in the back ground. I agree a car ride may not charge the turbos battery (3900mah) all the way but should not discharge it. Malcolm

I'm more interested in your discharge rate, also when it goes black and says the letters the screen then after like 10 seconds just shuts off right and the phone sleeps while using AA? That is a pretty high charge rate if accurate though, I hit about 1920mA with the screen off (won't charge that quick with screen on as designed).

Ah, Quickcharge requires the charger to have a chip that can communicate with the phone. I for instance charge my LG V20 with the samsung QC 3.0 charger from my old note 7 (LG one has electrical noise under load). It is only rated at 2.0 amps at 5 volts, you can charge with as little as 2 no problem but you still need that chip communication. Hi all: I want to open my front driver and passenger Sport Cooled/Heated seats, but just the back if that is possible. I'm trying to see if the seatguru fix for the cooled function will work in this seat but the directions are for the F150 and they have a zipper on the back that the edge does not seem to have. http://seatguru.wixsite.com/fordseatfix/instructions If some one knows what clips need to come off to get to this part of the seat I would be grateful, I plan on taking detailed pics if I do the fix. Hold the left side OK button while starting the car keep it held till a prompt appears in the left side then release and go up and down for the different screens, you want the dtc screen. It has thngs to test the gauges ect. Don't change any of the things farther down as it might reset your fuel meter ect. I don't believe you can hurt the car with any of that though. It's self explanatory in each screen. Good luck.

I would just while you know it's not working go into the engineering mode and take a picture if you have any dtcs. That way you have proof when you get home.

Good to know also, also I found out anyone who wants that tach back its in settings/display where it never was before it and is defaulted to off. I was hoping to get the tsb done for airbag soon do you happen to have the number of it? I only got a letter stating it would be Q2. Malcolm

I agree, They should not have removed any of them I never used it but they really should just have a menu to tick off the ones you don't want so you only have to scroll though the ones you need. I would much rather have mine have nothing but the circle tack with gas and heat (why is this the only one with water temp!), air pressure, and speedo. And if you could also rotate in the trips that would be good to. I don't need a gimmicky menu showing where torque is atm. Just my opinion. Maybe you can ask them to not wipe the vertical tach when they put on the new wheel?

I did and they just programmed it again and it was all good. I also have an option to disable the lift gate switch which I swear was not there before. No you can it just mentions that it was most likely a dealer upgrade if it went ota. I upgraded from 1.0 Nav. You can do it yourself then swap the usb module. Malcolm Edit: if you upgrade and do not see a CarPlay thing in options you will also need the usb module, if you see the option your module is new enough.
