  1. That was me. I reflashed to stock the other day because I was getting a check engine (the DTC's were P0607 and U3000) on the 93 aggressive tune. Anywho, when I was on that tune, the sulfur smell had gone away. Now that I'm back to stock, it has returned.
  2. Yes. I had the check engine light come on when I started my truck this morning. Drove to work and then straight home, about 6 miles. I didn't notice any performance issues but I also didn't push it. When I got home, I pulled the codes - P0607 (Powertrain, computer and auxiliary output circuits, control module performance) and U3000 (Network communications, air/fuel metering, auxiliary emission control). I called Anthony at LMS and he said he's never heard of this. He recommended I flash back to stock and leave that way for a week or so and monitor for any codes on the stock tune. He said it could be a faulty PCM and although not a common problem, it happened on a friend's EB 3.5 F150.
  3. I was thinking of getting the SCT Livewire/JMS PedalMAX combo from Unleashed. Torrie gets incredible reviews for his tunes. I'm not unhappy with the LMS tunes, but I wonder if there's something better. Apparently, you do too! I know it's only been a few weeks since you posted this, but any progress with your comparison?
  4. You're welcome! I recommend you purchase a second lug key (only $15) with the code that was in the box. Inevitably the dealership or tire shop will accidentally keep your lug key and/or you may misplace it yourself. I'd also recommend not keeping either one in the vehicle if you're just driving around town, you'll just be helping the wheel thieves should they break a window and rummage through your truck looking for it.
  5. UPDATE: I received a thorough response from Anthony at LMS. All is good, I will keep the tunes (and hard shifts) I have. You guys have been a great help in advising me and I greatly appreciate your assistance, especially WWWPerfA_ZN0W and 037. Excerpt from the email with regards to the DTC's I encountered - "...flashing the vehicle will cause interruptions in power / communication between some of the computer systems in your vehicle while it's loading the file. This is one of the reasons why we suggest to flash the vehicle back to stock and then disconnect the battery cable afterwards to clear any residual memory before taking the vehicle in for service / maintenance. Doing so will ensure that you wouldn't have any DTC codes leaving a bread crumb trail towards having a tune if the customer's concerned with the service center / dealer asking questions." Keep in mind, I have never used a programmer/calibrator so this is all new (noob ) to me.
  6. I can take the harsh feeling, in tune with the road ride this Edge Sport gives me, but the hard shifts are something I can't handle. How long have you had the tune?
  7. Still shifting heavy, mostly from first and second, but I also found it on deceleration. Exiting the freeway this evening, it banged down the top three gears pretty hard and fast under moderate/heavy braking. After driving home with the stock tune and then reloading the 93 agg, this truck is night and day. Aside from the shifting issue and if that hose can hold, I'm very happy (again). Emailing LMS now about the shifting issue. Will update with the resolution. I will also ask about those codes it was throwing...when I reconnected the tuner this afternoon, there were no DTC's. I may try hooking up the tuner tomorrow (depending on what LMS wants to do) to see if those codes come up again with the 93 agg tune. Clearly the codes had nothing to do with the renegade, fun-killing hose.
  8. Done and done. It was, in fact, the charge hose from the throttle body to the inter cooler that popped off. The tech said that it wasn't torqued enough from the factory. Duh... Ok, now to reload that 93 aggressive tune...
  9. Yes, I suspect it did. I can't see down between the front of the airbox and the rear of the radiator to see if it's charge pipe or not. Wonderful. If it is the charge pipe, anyone put a worm gear hose clamp on theirs? I have to admit, I've lost some confidence in this truck.
  10. Cleared codes and returned to stock but the engine is still sluggish. I'm worried that when I take it to the dealership, they'll know that I had a tune on it...yikes.
  11. I was driving around town tonight and lost all boost. I was making a left turn and there was a loud noise, it sounded like I hit something. I pulled over to check it out and everything seemed to be in order. I pulled away and tried to accelerate...NO BOOST! Under acceleration, the engine sounds like it's laboring and it's super sluggish. I put the programmer on the truck and it throws U0100 and U0101 DTC's. I'm sick to my stomach. My problem seems similiar to this thread - http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/17892-2015-sport-complete-loss-of-boost/ After looking up the codes (Google) U0100 = Lost communication with ECM U0101 = Lost communication with TCM. These seem vague and general to me. Any input/clarification would be appreciated!
  12. It was just the programmer. I talked to Jaime at LMS and he said the dyno would only get me 6-7 more HP, the tune is that close. I was skeptical. I've only had motorcycles tuned on a dyno; canned tunes for those seem to be mostly a miss. Jamie reassured me that this tune is plenty close to the results the dyno could provide. So far, so good, except for the clunky hard shifts...this tune has actually improved my gas mileage and eliminated the exhaust smell in the cabin on full throttle/hard acceleration. It also alleviated the rough idle on startup with the AC on.
  13. I haven't contacted LMS yet, but I will swing by there on my way home from work. I originally started this thread to determine if this is normal or a problem to worry about. I appreciate all of the feedback, you've all been helpful.
  14. Thanks for your reply, I appreciate your input! I loaded the 87 performance tune last Friday, ran through a tank of 93 octane, and it was hard shifting on that tune. I loaded the 93 aggressive tune yesterday and it's continued the same hard shifting. How long should it take for the PCM to relearn the strategy?
  15. Anyone else with the LMS tune experiencing hard shifts from 1st to 2nd gear and 2nd to 3rd? The hard shifts occur in low to mid RPMs while driving under normal conditions and only in/from the gears I've mentioned above. Under full throttle or heavy acceleration, shifting is smooth as butter. I'm perplexed.
  16. Yeah, I'm not interested in sound, recirculating is just fine with me. If I wanted sound, I would've ordered a Focus RS...lol
  17. I too am curious. I'm considering the Magnaflow exhaust and the LMS tune. I will however take my Edge to LMS and have it dyno tuned (they're local to me) as well as install these little pieces... https://www.summitracing.com/parts/tbs-ts-0203-1281/overview/year/2016/make/ford/model/edge
  18. Yes, they come in black as well. Not sure of the part number but make sure you get a set of 20! I read somewhere on the internet (so it must be true) that the Edge shares the same wheel studs as the Fusion of which the M14 x 1.5 fit.
  19. In my opinion, having 5 locking lugs serves as more of a deterent than one locking lug which is why I ditched the stock McGard locking lug and went with the Gorilla's.
  20. Not familiar with McGard necessarily but I just purchased/installed the following on my '16 Edge Sport - The System from Gorilla (71643N Acorn 14mm x 1.50, 5 lug) for about $50 from Amazon. Torque to 100 ft.-lbs. and you're good to go. https://www.amazon.com/Gorilla-Automotive-71643N-System-Thread/dp/B002807SF0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1466547668&sr=8-1&keywords=gorilla+71643n
