  1. In that case, it was already at its end of life, not having the oil replaced at a reasonable mileage interval.
  2. What's the mileage, and how frequently was the PTU oil changed?
  3. I believe your model doesn't have a PTU drain, so they couldn't have drained it - they would have "extracted" the oil, if they did anything with it. If sludge was found they may attempt to flush it with ATF, but it shouldn't run more than a few miles before filling with the correct oil.
  4. Your owners manual should show that, and if you don't have one do a Google search for a PDF version. It wouldn't take long to damage the PTU with the wrong fluid. Of course they'll respond that its a typo, in which case I'd demand that they prove it to me by extracting the fluid for me to inspect, and then of course show me the fluid going back in. Also, it needs to be recorded on Ford's records linked to your VIN.
  5. Why would they use ATF in the PTU which calls for gear oil 75W140 ?
  6. The originals have text "Left" and "Right" and Ford lists two part numbers - I couldn't see any physical difference. Just to confirm, that link has them at $48 for the pair? I'm going to get a set - I liked the way it lifted fully open when my Sport was new. I suspect the gas has just about all leaked out on mine.
  7. "Transfer Case" - Are you referring the PTU or the Transaxle/transmission?
  8. If there's clear evidence that the seller sent the wrong goods, then you can open a dispute with eBay and whoever you used for payment, but if it wasn't the sellers error then you'll need to eat the cost or try work something out with the seller to send the correct goods and negotiate the costs.
  9. Not sure if this is what you're looking for: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1qf2gYgkhmsX-dnFO3Ki0nYUvr7aeLKsHsA0WxhDns1s/edit#gid=0 https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1yax6zfhZYj2joBczEeruqKh9X5Qhee3C0ngilqwTA7E/pubhtml?gid=0&single=true
  10. Looks fine to me, but you could have your dealership look at it when.
  11. The new batteries test higher than the labeled CCA - I guess they don't want anyone complaining about it being one or two CCA below rating. I went from a 590 to a 730 CCA and its showing 825 CCA
  12. I recently bought one very similar, which also has the same functions. With two cars, motorcycle and ride-on lawnmower, its handy - yes, we could take it to Autozone, but I prefer the convenience having this. My 2017 Sport never had a slow crank, and the only thing I did notice was that the time on ACC had got a lot shorter before the warning to start the engine or cut the power, so it got a new battery one size larger. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Z67MMGC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  13. I started doubting my memory with regards it open on its own from about two foot, but a week ago when I installed a set on my wife's Mustang it reminded me how it did and should work.
  14. I bought the Redline Tuning ones on Black Friday at $85 for my wife's Mustang and they work great with that long hood - from about two foot open they briskly take it all the way open. I browsed the Redline website but didn't see a direct replacement - will send a request. The Mustang didn't come with struts - I chose the Redline because their mounting brackets were the best. 15. My 2017 Sport's hood struts have lost their vigor (need Viagra) and I have to open the hood all the way by hand, and it will at least stay there, but I do recall that I could lift the hood the first foot or two and it would take off on its own to full open. What's the best replacement, OEM or are there better brands available?
  16. Quite astounding that the forum owners cant address this.
  17. There's a long standing issue with this forum where the platform updates break things like displaying the profile detail, and the owners don't appear to have the appetite to fix it - the work around is to add your profile detail to your signature. https://www.fordedgeforum.com/settings/signature/
  18. The temperature isn't going to make it malfunction. Its still under warranty, so why not make it the dealerships problem?
  19. The brake system is proportioned to apply 60% to the front and 40% to the rear - you don't want to upset that balance. You'd be better off selling them.
  20. I'm approaching replacement time for the Atturo which will be the same, or a little more mileage than I got out of the Pirelli P-Zero and they're half the price - of course I'm looking at another set of Atturo's.
  21. The best price on these now is at Walmart for $153.74 and tires bought from them they'll fit for $15 each. Atturo AZ850 Performance Tire - 265/40R21 105Y - Walmart.com I'm going to buy a set now, but will only need to install in about 6 to 8 months. Edit: What's the waring about not to buy from Walmart or Amazon? Online Dealers - Atturo WARNING: DO NOT BUY ATTURO TIRES FROM AMAZON, WALMART OR OTHER UNAUTHORIZED DEALERS.
  22. A Blue-tooth OBDII device is reasonably priced, Forscan is free, and there's an abundance of tutorials and videos on how to do it, and you'll have it for future reading/resetting codes etc.
  23. Sounds right to me, and I too have the 2.7L TT There's a major difference in MPG from spirited to relaxed driving. BTW Pascale007 are you relying on the dashboard indication or a real MPG test between fill-ups?
  24. You might be aiming a little high on your price. See the below which includes shipping. PowerStop® S5026A - Performance Front Brake Calipers (carid.com) Power Stop S5026A Power Stop Red Powdercoated Performance Calipers | Summit Racing POWER STOP S5026A Caliper | RockAuto
