I also think his edge looks good...i was just saying that with 22's if you go that route like i did, that a 295 or 305 helps fill the wheel well if it is lowered. Do no think scoopo had has lowered, so my comment does not apply to him.

0 problems so far with 1025 miles on. love this car.

Also..my dealer said they will not void the warranty....but i have a very exceptional dealership, so yours may say different.

soopo....i had my edge lowered w/ the h&r springs the day after i bought it....i had my dealer do it because they have to realign everything..u will love the look....my dealer charged $295....for everything. Go with 295 or 305/35 -22 tires. Anything else looks to small. Ck out my photo gallery as i have posted photos of my edge lowered with 22's. saleens7

Turbonetics is supposedly developing a turbo kit for the edge....also roushperformance.com (of roush mustang fame) may have engine aftermarket parts.

I like the look of the wheels.....some don't, i do. It is differant and makes your edge stand out. And i like the ford decal....i have owned 2 saleen mustangs...so i like vehicles that make a statement and stand out instead of looking like your avg, run of the mill edge. Ck out my edge.....saleens7...oh..get your edge lowered with lowering springs..it will look badass. Again see my edge in my gallery...i lowered it with 22"s, chrome pinstripping and led turn signals. I have been waiting for magnaflow to release the exhaust kit for months now...wish they would hurry up.

securinu...was also thinking ground connection at solenoid not making connection...or bad power wire to solenoid or starter.

ok...give me a minute to figuere this out for you...stay on this site.

I am thinking also that a fuse was blown when they were installed...ignition...or something. Who installed the amp and sub.

Both battery cables are hooked up and tight to the battery posts, right

The kit u see is actually from a company called 3dcarbon.com..they released these kits earlier this year. The website from amazon is just a seller of the kit...not the maker. The maker does sell its kits at the 3dcarbon.com but you may get it cheaper thru other sites.

I have had my edge since apr.....and this is an amazing vehicle from ford. The BAMR is church quiet when closed ..no wind noise, no leaks. And i have no buffeting at highwway speeds. My only complaints. Slight windshield glare from the dash board...(i am used to it now) and the ac could use a "bump" up in power to chill the cabin quicker. I have learned to close the "shades" of the BAMR and it seems to help chill the edge quicker. You will not be dissappointed in this "cuv". OH...gas mileage for me has been in the 17-19mpg in the city. I bought my edge (no lease) and paid $32,900 loaded. U can see my edge on my member gallery..saleens7.

Jim, good luck man...we have corresponded back and forth a few times and just want to wish you luck. My 4 year old "baby girl" was the best thing that ever happened to me. YOU WILL UNDERSTAND THE FIRST TIME HE/SHE LOOKS AT YOU AS YOU HOLD THEM, AND THEY SMILE. I would give up every personnel possesion i have........ for my daughter. Cherish every minute with your son/daughter.

Jim, you and i have emailed back and forth on this site and exchanged some info a few times ....i just wanted to say good luck with the baby....i never wanted a child, then i was blessed with a baby girl (who is now 5). Roushperformance.com has come out with a new 18" chrome wheel package...and according to their site will be putting out performance parts for the edge/mkx. No time frame from what i could see.....but this could include performance and body kits. Pic is of the new roush chrome wheel....Thanx Ryan

This edge has the 3d carbon body kit and what looks like a new paint job along with the new wheels....that price is real good for the stuff that they added.

I gotta agree with u bryce....ford should of had that same piece as a standard offering on the edge. That looks so good...it looks factory. $60 seems high...but u have sold me.

Sorry xpolrgee...was having problems uploading pics yesterday...they are up now. I can send pics of the wiring install along with removing the mirrors and installation of the wiring their also if anyone needs them.

Just installed LED turn signal indicators into the driver and pass. mirrors of my edge...took me about 2 hrs each side as i had to snake the wires thru the engine/firewall/ and remove the mirrors to insure a pro. install. If anyone decides to do this, twist the turn signal bulb connector away from its housing in each of the headlight housings, look for the BLACK ground wire(there are 3 wires), take your hot lead wire from your new led signal, and splice it into the wire at the opposite end of the where the black wire is. (not the middle wire) Each signal housing has a different color hot wire for that turn signal, so that is why i do not specify a color. I took the ground wire and connected it to the mirror housing bolts which bolt directly to the edges metal bodywork.

THAT IS SHARP...LIKE THE INTERIOR COLOR....
