Is there anybody who notice any damage after winter, or maybe they are just designed to cope with the salt and ice.......

Hi there, Anybody experience problem with the chrome clad rims in the winter? Will the snow and salt damage the rims? I'm thinking to buy just the metal basic rims and change the wheels every winter. I'd like to hear from someone who has drivan with the chrome rims in the winter and if you notice any damage to them from salt or ice. Thank you

My understanding was this problem was fixed on 09, 10 models. My 09 edge limited AWD has 23000km and no problem. I would go to different dealer and see what they say .....

09 LTD AWD with 20 000 km, no burning smell, we love the truck.

That's a good news hopefully that's true.....I notice most of the problems were on 07s and some 08s.

Hallo everybody, We just picked 09 LTD AWD and I was wandering if the PTU problem was fixed on the 09s. I'm little concerned about this problem from reading on this site and I would appreciate if the 09 owners would comment whether they had to deal with this or not? Thank you, Sparky

We just picked up 09 LTD with all the bells and we love the ride. I love the power this thing has and love the hard drive to record all the songs. There are couple of miner issues we had. The sirius radio is not working and there is sound problem in one of the screens in the head rest. Other wise everithing seems to be OK. Only think what concerns me is the PTU problem I read on this site. Was this problem fixed on the 09? I would appreciate if 09 owners would comment on that. Thank you.

I believe it did, the service lady at Sirius was able to find the esn number from just giving her my VIN number of my Edge. Also when I pres radio I have the satellite chanel displyed on the screem.

Hi everyone, sounds like you guys know a lot about satellite radio. I'd like to try it for 6 months, but there is a problem. I got 09 LTD with navigation and when I called Sirius for activation we could not find the ESN number. In the system info slot where the ESN should be displayed, there is only lines but not the numbers we need. Has anyone run in to this problem? I wander if there is a way to enter the number manually or there is a reset which might help? If any one had this problem, please let me know. Thank you, Sparky
