I have an MKX but since the edge and MKX are built from the same platform I can say I would take the edge hands down. The ride quality, space, pricing, looks, and functionality can't be beat.

I've had pretty good luck just doing a google search for TSBs.

How much more is the ecoboost motor going to be....its not a cheap option on the MKS.

A bad wheel bearing is quite noticeable.

Could be a wheel bearing, but if you have heard one going bad before they are quite loud. Its like a grinding sound....I wouldn't describe it as road noise. Doesn't hurt to take it to the dealer if its under warrenty though.

Don't like the front very much, but will wait to see the final car before passing judgement.

Not extremely common, but has happened before. Just take it in and they will take care of it.

Tried doing a search and didn't find much. I wouldn't mind seeing some replies as a newbie or hint at what we should be using in the search window.

Getting around 22mpg with 70/30 favoring city driving. Trips are about 18-20 miles each way so that might be helping me. Pretty happy with my MKX so far. Except for a darn squeek I can't find.

Did you purchase yours new or slightly used? If used how uch did you get it for? A dealer called me asking if I was interested in a leftover 09. With the X-plan, $2500 rebate, and 0% financing it doesn't seem like a bad deal. My biggest concern is the taxes I paid on the used 07. Can I apply those taxes to the 09 if I trade it in? Sorry, but never done a tradein before. Don't know all the rules/exceptions.

I have seen the order guide for 2007, 2008, and 2010. Does anyone have one for the 2009 models?

Do you think the monochrome version is really worth the extra money? Hard to tell through pics...
