JOEHIO
Have had an unusual problem with my rear washer since the warmer weather (70's+) has arrived. The rear washer randomly squirts out a bit of washer fluid, just enough to have a line of fluid dry up on it, and leave a line on my CLEAN rear glass. I got my MKX back in late November, when colder weather was already upon us, and it did not do this at that time, or throughout the winter. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Thanks, Joe Edited June 7, 2012 by JOEHIO
Dingo
Run it for 10-15 seconds. Should fix it.
akirby
Does it only happen when you drive by some exotic foreign model?
JOEHIO
I'll try running it for 10-15 seconds next time it needs a washing, and I wish that I went by an exotic model ! Ā
milktruk
I have the same problem when the weather warms up, too. Are you using Rain-X (orange colored) washer fluid? For some reason it only "pisses" when filled with the Rain-X. When I use the standard washer fluid (any brand of the blue stuff) I don't have this issue. JOEHIO
The only washer fluid that is in there is what came in the car when new, as I really didn't user the washers (front or rear) but only a couple of times in the 6+ months I've had it.
