hehateme2812
Is there any difference between the 3.7 Model Brakes and 3.5 Model Brakes. Currently looking to upgrade my brakes to slotted rotors and upgraded pads. Any suggestion?
ls973800
Is there any difference between the 3.7 Model Brakes and 3.5 Model Brakes. Currently looking to upgrade my brakes to slotted rotors and upgraded pads. Any suggestion? A good way to find any difference between parts for certain models, engines, etc is to go to Rockauto.com. I just checked a 2011 Ford Edge using both the 3.5 engine and the 3.7 engine. The part numbers for the Ford Motorcraft brake pads and rotors were the same for each engine choice. I didn't cross check the other 20 or so part numbers which were for aftermarket products, but would guess they are the same for each engine/model also. I also use the Rockauto catalog to cross reference part numbers or to figure out what part number fits what vehicle.

blankster
AWD vehicles show a larger swept area on the front brakes 63.1 Vs 69.79. So something is different when you have AWD.
