mtapang77 Posted November 4, 2012 Report Share Posted November 4, 2012 I'm planning to replace my 2013 for edge headlights with an hid kit. I'm hoping for some feedback from canadian owners who have succesfully replaced theirs already. With so many stores offering these hid kits, I'm not sure which one would work flawlessly with canadian vehicles as we use our headlights as drl's (together with the pipe light). I have changed my old 2008 edge to an hid before but have to turn the headlights on manually and this time, I want to keep it on auto. In short, I wasn't able to solve the drl problem but my headlights did function, so I kept it anyway. Would the canadian owners be kind enough to tell us where they bought their hid's, the components needed and how they perform. Sharing a link if it's an on-line store would help as well. Thanks. My purchase came with the relay kit and I went with the 55w 6K series. Just 'cause some stores offer a drl canceller, some with warning canceller, etc. i'm not sure if all these are needed or they're just trying to get the most out of our pocket, lol. How about someone south of the border who had DRLs on a US Spec Edge? That was my issue and I had to order all of those pieces to get everything to work.
