Guindalf Posted December 9, 2012 Report Share Posted December 9, 2012 (edited) Hi all, I picked up a 2011 Edge Limited (301A) yesterday, but it came with only one IA fob. I obviously need to get another one for the wife/as a backup. Where is the best place to get one? Am I best to got to the local Ford dealer? The dealer I got the car from has told me he'll get on for me at cost and program it for free, but he is almost 2 hours away. I guess I may be able to get him to mail it to me and pay to get it programmed locally. Any help appreciated. JOEHIO Posted December 9, 2012 Report Share Posted December 9, 2012 First of all, why not insist that the dealer give you a second one, it's like buying the car and getting only 3 seat belts ! Ask him if you only get 1 fob if you buy a new car. If they won't give you one, check online for one, I'm sure that you can find a new one. Road Dog Posted December 10, 2012 Report Share Posted December 10, 2012 I just order a fob for my 2011 Sport off ebay for $50... but, you are going to have an issue with programing.
