Squeaking Brakes

My wife has a 2008 MKX AWD and we are having a continuing problem with squeaking brakes.

The squeak started when only braking in reverse, but it now does it in both directions. The squeak only happens at slow speed (parking lot speeds) and it dosen;t matter if the brakes are hot or cold.

Things I have done so far

New pads on both front and rear

All rotors turned

Brake fluid flushed and changed

What am I missing? Ideas

Thanks

Buddy

My 2008 SEL does this too. But the dealer told me it is normal and has something to do with teh materials used in the brakes. I tried anti sqeal ( or whatever the stuff is called) and it still happens. It doesn't seem to effect how well the brakes work so i am just dealing with it at this point.

I know, logically it does not make sense. It could be faulty calipers, you know pistons in the caliper not engaging/releasing properly when braking at very low speeds. That is what I think is really happening, and it should be easy for a mechanic/mechanically inclined person to check. My dealer is certainly not interested in pursuing any avenues of investigation, so I will have to go elsewhere.

The Ford Escape had a TSB on something similar, but whether it applies here or not ...

My Girlfriends 2008 Ford Edge AWD squeeks in reverse only. ive replaced the pads and rotors to stop the squeeks, i didnt go cheap on them either, but i cant seem to figure out what is causing it. it has 30K miles on it and the dealership just tells me its normal. Then i found this article today, check it out. i guess its a pretty common issue with other vehicles also. I think this will be my next move to see if it fixes it. Hope this helps everyone also!
