RJG
Got an alignment on our 2012 FWD Limited with about 18,500 miles yesterday. Toe was off on all 4 corners, and camber was off some also. Toe wasn't more than -1 deg neg anywhere, so not too bad. No bad iire wear yet. 2 of the 4 was out of (very wide) spec on either camber or toe. Caster was OK, but no easy adjustment for that. Do want to make the original tires last 40,000-50,000 miles, and drive smooth and quiet while doing that. Edge drives better after the alignment.....has a better feel thru the steering. Better planted ride. Better on center steering with correct toe setting. Don't overlook this maintenance item. JAR1299
I'd like to know how they adjusted the camber. I just had alignment done on my '08 and the right front camber is off....-1.5°. I was told there is no caster/camber adjustment on the Edge. I wanna get it right as not to wear out my brand new tires.
2011edgese
I think I need a alignment myself. I rotated my tires to get rid of tire howling over 35mph. Well.. It's louder now. I have 64k miles. Never done a alignment. So I think the tie noise is due to a desiderate need of a alignment.
2011edgese
Wait. . No camber? What if it needs it?
akirby
It usually requires a special kit to add adjustability but don't know if that's the case here or not. Try PM-ing Waldo.
