misterfixit Report post Posted January 5, 2014 Been there - done that. I know the recommended lift points- just can't find a good place under the edge to place jack stands.
wlepse Report post Posted January 5, 2014 At least on my 2011 the front and rear jack points are marked on the side sills with arrows then there are a few notches in the sill so the jack stands can fit right in.
akirby Report post Posted January 6, 2014 The problem is the stands need to go very close to where the jack has to go. Just move the jack a little so you have room next to it for the stands.

If you put the jack on the jack point, the stand is a good 6 inches away from the actual jack point. If you try and jack at a point away from the arrow, you end up bending the pinch weld seam.
