ferneyhough
I have a 2011 edge sel & was wondering if anybody has ever dyed the interior panels i.e. door skins, front dash, A-B pillars. I want to dye the entire interior to match. I've seen some video's & read some reviews on some products from SEM & Dupont. Still up in the air on what to do. Any info on how to & what products were used would help.
Michael White
Duplicitous vinyl and fabric paint. Prep good. Wash everything with soapy water then soak it in alcohol and wipe/scrub with microfiber cloth and let dry before you paint. Remember thin coats and smooth strokes. Done some on my truck, haven't done the edge yet
CinnamonEdge
Colorbond has the best products. They make the interior colors for Ford to use for interior touchup. I've used it on my Ford Escape steering wheel and driverseat. It looked perfect and was more durable than factory leather.
