  1. Push rod needs adjustment on the booster it may be out too much.
  2. Well you might get your wish. NHTSA is investigating the issue. Mine wasn't letting me lock the doors or use my auto start. I consider no locks a serious problem. Ford did fix it under the original warranty. I hope that the extended warranty would cover it also.
  3. I wax mine every other wash with a synthetic wax. It helps repel dust and makes it easy to clean. In the winter months it protects the wheels from the road salts.
  4. Im under warranty until March 2019, 75k miles, no problems yet. But only have 30k.
  5. Im sure they wouldnt install it like that. but the design is weak . Its like holding a glass with a pair of pliers. I'm scared to close my doors now.
  6. I might be interested. What tunes are on it now? Who was the original seller? I was quoted three tunes for 200.00 from Unleashed Tuning.
  7. my temp button? the only one I have is on the touch screen.
  8. I'm going to drive to the dealer to see if they will replace it tomorrow.
  9. My warranty ends on Wednesday March 30th,3016.
  10. My front and rear ford emblems are showing signs of corrosion. The front is worse. The front emblem was replaced a couple years back. I showed my dealer 6 months ago and they said it's not bad enough. Shouldn't ford replace this again? It's much more noticeable now.
  11. OMG. That is not right! get that towed back and have them replace the seal now that the vibrations probably ruined it. the blue stuff is Loctite so that the bolts cant come loose. it should not be showing at all.
  12. sorry just thought it was funny you have a milan and an edge? I have the same combo. Ignot silver Milan 2010.
  13. i dont think its gonna be the smart junction box because that controls a lot more than just interior dash lights. I would see if there is a bad connector or a bad switch, relay or something to that effect. Sometimes it can be a fuse under the hood or one near your feet.
  14. Colorbond has the best products. They make the interior colors for Ford to use for interior touchup. I've used it on my Ford Escape steering wheel and driverseat. It looked perfect and was more durable than factory leather.
  15. Paul i think I recommended Colorbond to you back last year. Used it a few years back to fix my Escapes steering wheel, console and seats. So here is the deal. The 2007-2010 Edge with medium light stone is as follows: Seat surface is the named color from your VIN, Medium Light Stone. Darker door and dash trim is supposedly Graystone. 2011-2014 Edge is Medium Light Stone seat surface and the darker door and dash trim is Agate. I do know that 2011 had the medium light stone carpet(light color) while 2012-2014 has the Agate carpet (dark color). Well I contacted Colorbond and they said they don't have Agate for Ford because they only make colors that Ford has requested and they may have it in the future. I have a few cans of Colorbond Ford medium flint, ford black, and dark flint from my two tone Escape and noticed that the Dark Flint is pretty much a perfect match for the Agate trim. I'm also curious how close the Graystone is to the Agate and if Ford just changed the name?
  16. i looked up some parts like the glove box and doorsills and they say they are Agate. and of course that ford color doesnt seem to exist with colorbond paints. Im thinking they call it graystone. please help. Thanks. guys
  17. Ford has a interior color chart for 2005-2010 that shows the interior colors by the vehicles color codes. Each vehicle make/ year has different colors inside even if it has the same color code. I have a 2012 edge so im looking for the newer charts if anyone has access to them.
  18. I know my interior is Medium Light Stone. So Im assuming my tan leather seats are medium light stone and the darker parts(dash, doors etc) are dark stone? Does anyone know? Ive checked part numbers for both and fords part sites just say "stone" for both the lighter parts and the darker parts. I'm ordering some color bond leather and vinyl colorant.
  19. I'm not sure. You need to match the shape and thread of the nut. the Gorilla x2 locks are good too.
  20. I bought Gorilla Guard Locks on Amazon when I bought my Edge. They are the hardest locks to remove from a wheel because the outside of it spins. so you can not smash a socket over it. It's stubby so it sits deep in the wheel. It also blends well with the factory nuts
  21. Those are probably the side baffles assuming that they look like Chinese fans. They are aesthetic and cover the side rails. I described to someone last week how to reinstall these. They just snap in place and slide into the track that is on the glass panel. Its easier to install with the roof open.
  22. So I had one of mine replaced under warranty. And it is fine now. The driver side came loose a few days ago. All that I did was pinch along the entire black channel that snaps to the aluminum frame. Then I pressed it on and it is nice and snug. Don't waste your time at the dealer if your not in warranty. Ohh and it's not a gasket but more of a appearance thing. It is there to hide the BAMR mechanisms.
