svtenthusiast
Anyone have any details on pricing yet? I work for a Ford dealer and when we spec one out, it does not show up pricing yet. I would think it should be updated soon, since they are going to job1 in about a month..... If anyone finds out when they release pricing please post it here. Thanks.
robertlane
I have not heard anything firm yet. I don't understand how people can order these vehicles and how Ford will have them hitting dealers in less than 90 days without prices being established yet? Is this normal? :bike:
svtenthusiast
The only thing I can think of is they are still trying to firm up the package prices because they made the safety equipment (side curtain and advancetrac) standard and it was optional on their website. But I don't think it's usually this long to get pre production pricing for people that want to pre order.
audiomidiman
I know... They say "MID $20's"... Now, wondering if they will raise the price from their current site. I really don't see how they could magically raise the cost much more than what the pre-production pricing is. I really wish they would just get the final pricing out so I could make a good decision. I would hate to wait another two months (extending my lease another two months) to find out that it's $3000+ over what they orginally estimated... RedfireEdge
I take it that these are Canadian prices? It appears that pricing has now been released. The Build & Price for Edge no longer has statement about it being "Survey" pricing. Check it out...
svtenthusiast
It appears that pricing has now been released. The Build & Price for Edge no longer has statement about it being "Survey" pricing. Check it out... Well the site did change, but it isn't in their "mainstream" build and price and still says options and prices can change. When I priced a loaded SEL "plus" yesterday here's what I got: Base price: $28,130 Packages: o Seating Flexibility Package no charge - Leather Trimmed Seats - 6-Way Power Passenger Seat - Passenger Fold Flat Seat - Second Row Seat EasyFold™ Remote Release o Premium Package no charge - Leather Trimmed Seats - Heated Seats and Exterior Mirrors - Memory Seats and Exterior Mirrors - Dual Electronic Climate Control - Particulate Air Filter - Exterior Puddle Lamps - Steering Wheel Climate Controls o SEL ‘Plus’: Seating Flexibility Package + Premium Package $1,840.00 - Everything from the Seating Flexibility Package Above, plus - Everything from the Premium Package Above, plus - Discounted Package Price for Selecting Both Packages Options: o 18 inch Painted Aluminum Wheels $410.00 o Audiophile AM/FM In-dash CDX6/MP3 with Steering Wheel Audio Controls $400.00 o Panoramic Power Vista Roof™ $1,460.00 o SIRIUS™ Satellite Radio with 6 month prepaid subscription $200.00 o Reverse Sensing System $260.00 o Rear Cargo Management System $70.00 o Trailer Towing (Class II, 3500 lbs.) - Hitch Receiver + Wiring $370.00 o Advancetrac with RSC $620.00 When I priced it now here is what I got: Base Price : $28,965 Packages: o Seating Flexibility Package no charge - Leather Trimmed Seats - 6-Way Power Passenger Seat - Passenger Fold Flat Seat - Second Row Seat EasyFold™ Remote Release o Premium Package no charge - Leather Trimmed Seats - Heated Seats and Exterior Mirrors - Memory Seats and Exterior Mirrors - Dual Electronic Climate Control - Particulate Air Filter - Exterior Puddle Lamps - Steering Wheel Climate Controls o SEL ‘Plus’: Seating Flexibility Package + Premium Package $1,755.00 - Everything from the Seating Flexibility Package Above, plus - Everything from the Premium Package Above, plus - Discounted Package Price for Selecting Both Packages Options: o 18 inch Painted Aluminum Wheels $395.00 o Audiophile AM/FM In-dash CDX6/MP3 with Steering Wheel Audio Controls $385.00 o Panoramic Power Vista Roof™ $1,395.00 o SIRIUS™ Satellite Radio with 6 month prepaid subscription $195.00 o Reverse Sensing System $245.00 o Rear Cargo Management System $65.00 o Trailer Towing (Class II, 3500 lbs.) - Hitch Receiver + Wiring $350.00 So they upped the base price a little bit but lowered the option prices so the sticker comes out to be $35,030 before and 34,425 now. That's great that the price dropped. Compare the Vista Roof price on the MKX to the Edge. The same roof on the MKX is almost $2,000.

robertlane
The price difference between an Edge SE AWD and FWD isn't that much at all! :happy feet: Edge SE FWD: 25,995. USD Edge SE AWD: 27,645. USD I figured the AWD model would be closer to $29K.

In fact, $1,750 is the exact amount at which I used to value AWD in price comparisons. This was what Audi charged for quattro, and many others adopted Audi's pricing. Currently I value AWD at $1,700. On some models it's as little as $1,200, though.
