mark.in.tulsa
Good evening, So yes I've searched here and googled all over the web, But I have't found anyone to have this issue. Just bought this fully loaded 2012 3.7L Edge. Had no idea these Edge's were so nice. Wife loves it. So the issue is that everything on the Mytouch Sync works well. It has the newest update. But while driving down the road while listening to the radio the FM/AM radio will quit working if you take a call, or sometimes play with the screen while driving. All other media sources will work. But none of the radio stations will work again. FM or AM. We will have to turn the car off and on again for them to come back on. I've unplugged the battery for 10 min, and I've done a master reboot via the SYNC interface, but the problem still persists. Any info or help would be much appreciated. And I apologize if this is a reoccurring incident that I didn't research enough.
FordIVTteam
Hi mark.in.tulsa, Congrats on the new-to-you Edge! Let's check for software updates. Version 3.8 is the most current update available. Go to the Owner site to check your version: https://owner.ford.com/tools/account/how-tos/keep-your-sync-up-to-date.html If you're behind, please see a dealer to have it installed: https://owner.ford.com/dealer-locator.html Shaay Edited September 3, 2016 by FordIVTteam

enigma-2
Next time it happens, try a soft reset. Hold down the power button (center volume button) and the right seek button for 5-10 seconds. Display will show that it's rebooting and you can release buttons. If not try a hard reset, remove fuses for 15-20 minutes. Well known problem, no real fix that I've read about other than restarting car. mark.in.tulsa
Thank you. But I can't seem to get it to soft reboot. I'm holding the power button that's on the middle dial and the right seek button that is directly right of it.

FordIVTteam
Thank you Shaay, but yes it is up to date. You've actually exhausted all of the steps that can be taken on your owner. I suggest going to the dealer to have this issue resolved: https://owner.ford.com/dealer-locator.html Keep me in the loop.
