Platinum White
I found out from an older post by MNTNedge about a fuse that is powered with the start button. I used fuse #23 for my radar detector and GPS. The radar detector works fine, however the GPS shuts down when the car is turned off and reboots each time the engine is restarted. I want to power it from a non switched source. I have been told that the spares are non switched and tried fuse #5 that is a 20 amp spare circuit. It had a 20 amp fuse in it but no power, key either on or off, no power. Are there other fuses in the cabin fuse panel that are not turned on and off by the start button that I can piggy back my GPS to?
enigma-2
Any circuit that's hot with power off should work. Fuse 50 is the horn, hot at all times. But it will run your battery down.
