Toby99 Posted April 25, 2019 Report Share Posted April 25, 2019 Should I feel and hear the engine auto/start engage when leaving a stop? I hardly notice the engine start when using the push button to initially start the vehicle. I also do not notice the transmission engage when I use the rotary shift wheel. I do feel a noticeable jolt when I release the brake with the engine stopped. Is this normal? Seems odd that using the manual engine start and gear selector is nearly undetectable but auto start makes a noticeable noise and thud.
