2011 Edge AWD Limited Fueling Issue

2011 Ford Edge Limited AWD with 94K on it. Never had any fueling issues until today. I was only able to fill 1.5 gallons before the pump shut off. Would not continue pumping more than .2 gallons at a time. Figured it was the nozzle. Tried a different gas station with a different nozzle. Same issue. Both times the system purged some fuel onto the ground. I have looked for half an hour on this site looking for similar complaints with no luck. About a month ago I had P0455 come active, but it went inactive before I even addressed it. It has stayed off since. Looking for insite or direction please without throwing parts at it. I opened the capless fill tube with two screw drivers to see if I had any clogs, none. But I could hear the fuel vapor pressure escape.

Most common problems are due to the fuel filler neck or the purge valve.  Try cleaning the fuel filler neck as demonstrated by FordTechMakuloco on YouTube first.  If that does not fix it, check vacuum on the EVAP purge valve (located at the firewall).  Those are the 2 easy DIY items related to this problem.

Issue was my vapor canister. Vapors would pass thru the charcoal to the intake fine. They were not making it thru to the vent side of the canister. Vent valve itself functioned. $185 for OEM. System now is venting the pressure properly and I can now fuel my vehicle normally.
