SEL Cluster and Switch

I have an SE model and have access to a SEL Cluster and the dash switch.....

 

my question is: if I install both of these, will I gain the features of the SEL like the miles to empty, compass, etc, etc???

It's possible if the wiring is the same but you might have to reflash the computer.

 

Also be aware you must have the dealer swap the cluster and transfer over the odometer settings. If you don't the car will beep when you put it in reverse and go over 70.

I'm not sure the dealer can swap the millage settings. We usally have to order a cluster with the millage preset.

I was told that it had to be downloaded into the WDS tool, then uploaded into the new one but that might not be correct and the factory may have to set it. Either way it won't work right if you replace it yourself.
