I am looking for a new android infotainment system for my Ford Edge and my colleague just advised me of a head unit from Smarty Trend brand (the android head unit). Maybe someone has already bought a car radio like this http://smarty-trend.com/ford-edge/395-ford-edge-android-car-stereo-navigation-in-dash-head-unit.html ? The manager told me that it will fit, but I’m not sure about that…. I would like to hear an opinion. If yours is a Gen1 or 1.5 you might be interested in the so called 'Tesla style' aftermarket unit. Engr146 Posted February 21, 2020 Report Share Posted February 21, 2020 I have a 7" android gps/radio/dash cam/revers cam unit in my 07 SEL for 5+years works perfectly it's made for the edge/f-150 it fits perfectly and plug +play !plugs rite into existing ford plugs,sometimes rear subwoofer can be a little tricky on some units.I bought on eBay from China $265 , sorry I don't know how to setup links.
