Smoking engine

Recommended Posts

No. Absolutely not. Could this be the reason why DPF is regenerated every 10-15 km?

If the injectors have been replaced, I think against the used ones, but they are not coded, can it smoke so much?

Yes, it could be injectors, but could also be poor compression - best get a compression and lead-down test done and have the injectors tested by a professional service facility.

What's the mileage?

What's the service history?

So. Injectors replaced with new ones and coded. Engine still smokes.

English is not my first language. Even not second. @1004ron do you mean lead-down = leak-down test?

I'm not the firs owner. I bought it with 90,000 miles. According to the documents, all the prescribed services have been performed more or less according to the mileage. I have changed the engine oil twice (10,000 km).
